Jamal Murray Bonus: Life as a teen Mom

Jamal explains on how he got pregnant at the age of 17

Jamal Murray is 36 weeks pregnant with a 4th baby and explains to Nikola Jokic about what had happened at the time when Jamal found out he was pregnant. They were in the master bedroom while the boys are in their rooms.

"Well in that case, Coach Mike told me that you vomited during practice," Nikola shrugs. "Babe, don't start, I had the worst morning sickness ever, this happened to me several times while vacationing at my hometown in Kitchener," Jamal rolled his eyes in disbelief. "While eating dinner with my family, I puked my guts out at the backyard,"

"That's a bummer, did you tell your parents that you're pregnant," "Well in that case I didn't want to because they would be upset with me," "Wow! Although, your dad was letting you know that it was okay right after your mom got upset,"

"Right!" He nods. "Maybe next time I should've been careful but I am a total dunderhead for not taking a birth control," In fact, Jamal has decided not to take a Birth Control pill, he would just get pregnant on those chapters and more.

Pepsi Center, Denver CO.
4:30pm,

Coach Malone was monitoring the boys with the conditioning and practice to play against the Golden State Warriors. Jamal was with his teammates and his Serbian boyfriend Nikola Jokić. He took the attendance and then resting. As he was making shots, Mike went to him and asked. "Jamal? Are you okay?" "No Coach, I feel like I need to puke," Jamal rushed to the the locker room and starts coughing and gagging. He followed Jamal to the locker and became worried. "Jamal, I think you should stay home, are you having a bug or something?" "Yeah it's just a bug Coach, I'll be fine," "Are you sure?" "Yes Coach Malone, I'm fine,"

He proceeded to the practice but somehow, he was feeling dizzy again. So he had to sit down and relax for a while. After practice, Jamal heads to the Nuggets locker room to tell Coach about what had happened.

"Got any second Jamal?" He was at the front office. "Coach Malone, I hate to tell you this but I'm concerned of late," "What do you mean?" The Nuggets Head Coach looked confused as Jamal admits that he was experiencing something. "Just as you know I had morning sickness, My sleeping patterns had been changing, spotting and some unusual thing several times," "Oh wow and when did you start experiencing these symptoms?" He asked again. "This morning coach," He replied. "I don't know what was going on, but I didn't want to tell my parents,"

"It's okay I Understand," Mike knew what it felt like about being a parent. "I used to be like you Jamal, it was embarrassing at first but I learned that it was going to be alright and we all have to get used to it, just a note: I don't want you to make the same mistake that I did, okay?" "Okay Coach," He nodded.

3 months later,

When he entered the Locker room. Jamal noticed his baby bump showing through his uniform. He placed his hand on his growing bump and sighed. Geez! I can't play like this. He shook his head. I'm going to look fat in this uniform.

Next, He was at the locker row next to his Serbian boyfriend as Jamal tries on his uniform. Although, it was tight. "I look so fat in this uniform!" He complained. "Babe you're not fat, it's just that the baby is growing inside of you," "It's easier for you to say, I still look terrible you know that,"

"Stop being so hard on yourself Jamal, you'll lose weight after you have the baby," "Noted," They were at the practice facility and of Course Jamal is not just your typical Teen when it comes to his pregnancy, he was young and didn't know what to do. In fact, there were some times that Jamal had witnessed young teens that went through the same thing as him. That being said Jamal wouldn't trade it for anything in this world.
