(Y/N); ——— "Gon your up next.." I whispered to Gon nudging him over. He smiled at me and walked over to Menchi placing his dish infront of the two examiners. Gon failed. So did Killua, me, Kurapika, and Leorio. And everyone else surprisingly.
"Everyone failed?" I sad whispering quietly. Eventually everyone started arguing, I wanted to myself but I didn't wanna look like a fool arguing with someone above my level.
Suddenly an air balloon was above our heads and an old man hopped down startling me and everyone else. I gripped onto whatever was next to me as I squealed. I was being pathetic.
moments later while the old man and Menchi were talking I heard her talk.
"I'm sorry, I'll let them try again." A smile grew onto my face and realized what I was clinging to. It was Killua and I was squeezing his arm in my chest. I let go with a light shade on my face.
"Sorry Killua! I didn't mean too." I said to him waving my hands around. He put his hands in his pockets and looked away from me.
"Whatever." He said still looking the opposite direction. Was he mad? I don't know like I'd give a fuck.. wait nows not the time to be rude. I let out a soft chuckle and turned my attention back to Netero.
"Everyone! We will be moving this to split-in-half mountain!!" Menchi yelled and everyone boarded Chairman Neteros airship.
——— (Y/N); We boarded off of Neteros ship and we saw that we were on top of a huge mountain with a big gap in the center of it.
"Woahhh.." Gon said with his mouth wide open.
"It's huge." Kurapika said. This is my chance.
I chuckled. "That's what she sai-" I was INTERRUPTED by Killua putting me into a head lock and giving me a nuggie. (If you don't know what a nuggie is ur crazy)
"GAHH WHAT THE HELL" I hollered making him let go of me. I fell back on my bottom and he snickered at me on the ground. He held his hand out for me to grab. I looked up at him with a frown.
"Awh, Killua are you being a gentlemen to this beautiful young lady?" Leorio said bending down to his level. Killua turned red and quickly moved his hand back to his pocket. I sat up.
"Cmon old man." I said putting a hand on his shoulder while he was bent down, he looked at me.
"We all know damn well Killua doesn't care about my well being so drop it, and stop making things weird between us. Okay?" I said with a smile. He only replied with a 'tch.' And stood back up to his normal stance.
I turned my attention to menchi who was now standing at the edge of the gap of the mountain. Some people looked concerned.
"I will now demonstrate." She said in a stern voice before going down earning a few gasps. What was she doing? Everyone looked over the edge including me. She had grabbed onto a web just above a few eggs. What was she thinking? If she jumps and grabs one she's dead.

I felt a slight breeze touch tip of my nose as I looked down watching menchi. Suddenly she jumped off the web she was clinging to and grabbed an egg. It didn't stop there, she fell down until I could no longer see her figure so far down.
A huge gust of wind blew upwards sending Menchi back up and a few gasps spread around. She landed on her feet and smirked.
"Easy enough!" I heard a man say, and a few other men jumped down along with the first. They clung onto a web and jumped down to grab an egg right away. Idiots. They jumped to early the current doesnt come all the time, you have to wait for the slightest hint. I realized that once menchi demonstrated.
Their pathetic anyway. They showed they weren't worthy of the exam, Menchi tried to stop them because she didn't give clear instructions quite yet.
All the men fell down and didn't come back up. Serves them right. Not trying to be an ass or anything. Once Menchi was done talking it was time to go down. Yes it may be a little idiotic to be afraid of heights if you wanna be a hunter but I was afraid of heights. Yes mam.
I looked down and saw only darkness at the bottom. I really don't like dark places either. Yes my fears are childish but it reminds me of when I was younger.
Killua somehow took notice of my discomfort. He came up next to me looking over the ledge making our shoulders touch.
"Dont tell me your scared." He said giving me the most mischievous smile. I swatted the top of his head.
"Shut up! Why do you care?" I said leaning to his face. He shoved my face down and looked away. I chuckled knowing I won the argument. Why does he always look away though?
Gon, Killua, me, Kurapika, and Leorio jumped down without a warning surprising Menchi. Then a few others followed. A few people stayed up top because they were to scared. However, I noticed that midway down in the air that Killua grabbed my hand. Was he trying to comfort me?
We grabbed onto the nearest web and I let go of his hand. I looked over a gave him a smirk.
"You don't have to worry about me." I said slyly and then looking back down below me. It was scary knowing I could end it all with just a simple movement. We waited for the small wind to come.
The web started breaking because of the weight of so many people. Some said fuck it and jumped down early expecting to live. It's almost suicidal coming down here.
Then I felt it on my nose, going through my hair, passed my ears, blowing at my cheeks. The tiny current indicating that it was go time.
We all jumped off the web before it just snapped in time and I collected my egg caressing it in one of my arms. I felt myself falling and falling. Down waiting for the huge gust of wind. It was pitch black once I got pushed up by the wind and landing on my feet back at the top.
I noticed Killua and the others had made it also and I smiled at Gon who in which was proud and exited to eat. I'm not a huge fan of eggs but it seems worth it.
——— I was sitting at the ledge letting my feet dangle over the big gap. Anyone could kill me now if they wanted too. But for some reason I didn't feel to have the need to be careful. I continued to eat my egg which was actually pretty appetizing. I noticed Killua had come to sit next to me.
"I thought you said you don't like eggs.." he spoke putting a hand to his chin smirking at me.
"Yes, that was until you held my hand to get one.." I said in a teasing tone. I wanted to joke around a little.
"W-what? Your weird. Idiot." He said crossing his arms looking away from me. All I could do is burst out laughing. I was stopped by Killua flicking my forehead causing me to yelp, I held my hands to my forehead.
"Shut up and eat your food." He said taking a bite of his egg and looking back at the sky. The sun was now setting. And we would have to go in Neteros ship soon for the next phase.
I sure could use a nap right now..
