The Diverse Siren

The Tide

 It was a cold dim light that set his heart afire. While the warm burning flame was burning out, the dim light soon awoke as his heart beated like a melody. 

" You'll be seeing me in your dreams, until your reality drowns......" A sad siren once sung.

 The boy's heart was a fire, but his mind was not. Mindlessly he walked into the ocean, still with his flame in his hands.

 Have you lost your mind!" an old man yelled.

" yes" he replied. 

He followed the voice into the ocean with his clothes drenched from all the rain. He walked with tears going down his face.

 He looked back and said, "Sorry" as he disappeared among the waves. He followed the voice, that was his mistake

(15 years before the incident)

  "Colton!" my friend yelped right into my ear. My eyes suddenly opened.

 I swung my arm up, only to end up slapping a friend.

 "Ow...." he said as he held his cheek. 

"Your fault," I said with a snare, "don't get my name wrong again." 

" Ah- sorry Bennet" he mumbled. 

As the wind blew through my hair. I looked up at the sky wondering what Colton was doing.

"It's dark," I said as I opened my eyes, "Where's Luka?" I walked around not knowing where to go.

I felt around until my arm went up and I heard someone say "Ow...." A light appeared behind me.

 I quickly turned to see two big bright screens that looked like eyes. "A-are though my eyes?!" I loudly muttered.

 I stepped back and tripped on my heavy toes, as I fell back I thought about where I was, until it hit me. I was in my head! My head slammed on a hard object.

 It was black once again, I felt as if I was drowning in a black liquid that was gasping into my soul. I closed my eyes as if I was ready to never see the light again.

 That was until I felt the wind blowing in my hair. 

It was so warm and smooth but that didn't last long. The wind had stopped and there was murmuring. I opened my eyes because I was curious what had stopped the wind.  

It was none other than my best friend Luka. 

*The setting turns gray and everything pauses*

You may be wondering who are you and all these people? 

Well I'm Colton and this is Luka. Luka isn't the smartest but he makes up for it with his luck. 

Me and luka met through Lan Magic-x High. It's a school where all races are taught about the great embrace of life. 

Now you may be wondering, "races?"

 Well you see we all live in a world called Alanx. In this world we have a total of 16 races. 

From the links to the humans we all live in a world of peace. Although our races have stats that conceive the system of peace. 

Within the 16 races we have a power scales. The races sort each other by strength and stats, you can see ones stat by simply touching their astial symbol located on their hand.

The higher and more skills you have the better. Although everyone starts off with their basics, you can increase your stats. The higher the race you are the high they are it's just how it works.
