~todo's pov~
"SHOTO! GET BACK HERE YOU COWERED!" I could here my father scream at me as I ran to my room closing the door and locking it behind me. I was panting and I had cuts and burn marks on me. Ever since my mom was sent away I became his main target. It was late at night and my siblings where in there rooms. I can hear him walking towards my room. His heavy footsteps and fast breathing. I could almost feel him glaring at me. When
"SHOTOOOOO!!! HOW DARE YOU TAKE OFF ON ME!" my father screamed as he broke my dore with a single punch. A bunch with the same fists that caused me so much pain.
I stood there shaking. I was trying to calm my breathing when he grabbed my jaw. Squeezing it so hard I could feel the bruises starting to form. I didn't know what to do. He's been like this all night. Normally it only lasted a couple hours and I would be able to keep my cool but I could feel my left side heating up. Then
WHOOSH!
My left side went up in flames and Endeavor let go of me in an instant. I took that chance to run past him and out the front door. I was running, I don't know where but I wouldn't stop running. Soon I found myself deep in the woods. I didn't know where I was but I liked it. The sun was just starting to rise and I could just see it peeking out from the trees. It was beautiful, but I knew I had to get home so I spent the next half of the day trying to find my way back to that hell whole.
Once I got home I was greeted by my sister Fuyumi.
"Welcome home Shoto!" She said with a smile that quickly faded "father is waiting for you" she said looking down.
I nodded my head and walked to the 'training' room. At least that's what Enji calls it.
Soon I got there opening the door to a room with burn marks covering every wall. It had a char in the middle where Enji made me sit when he was 'training' me. I sat down and braised myself for the first punch. Instead I felt a burn across my back. I sat up straight as I felt a slash across my back and am shirt dampen from my own blood. It went on like this for several hours untill Enji left the room
I waited 5 minutes for him to return, knowing if he comes back and I'm not hear it will be worse. He didn't come back though so I struggled to get up, my entire body ached. I made my way to my room. Closing the door and locking it behind me then laid down on my bed for a while hoping my sore body would get better fast. It didn't though so I had to go to training with a bunch of fresh burn marks and cuts. I changed my clothes and walked over to the other training room. The one that I actually benefit from. Soon I got there and spent the rest of the day training while Enji sat watching me and screaming at me every time I made a mistake. Luckily he didn't hit me this time. He tried to burn my a couple more times but I dodged them. Once the day was over Enji dismissed me and I walked back to my room to try to get some rest. I changed into my night clothes and when to sleep. Well I tried. But I couldn't get my mind of the forest that I stumbled across. I had been there so many times and I had never seen that part. I wonder if I would be able to find it again? So I got out of bed and quietly change into some clothes. It was 10:30 pm and Enji should be asleep. Knowing that I quietly made my way to the front door and left the house.
............I had just got to the new part of the forest when Enji shot a fire ball at me and came darting towards me. I screamed out of surprise and pain when I felt him grab my shoulder and throw me into a tree.
.............
~Izuku's pov~It was late at night and I was enjoying the stars from my garden when I heard a boy screaming. Then I noticed that one of the trees where on fire! Without thinking I grabbed my broom and flew of to see what was happening. When I got there, there was a young human boy being beat up what appeared to be is dad. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't supposed to help humans but he seemed different. He was in pain. Maybe I could help him without being seen. Besides there hurting the forest so I could just lie and say I was trying to save the forest! With that decided I used one of my spells to make one of the trees rap around the half and half boy. Once he was covered I heard the other man start shouting about how there was a witch. He kept telling me to come out and fight him. I didn't though, instead I made one of the trees hit him on the head so he would pass out. He was stronger than that though and he burnt the tree and ran of telling the half in half boy, that he called Shoto to fallow him. I used on of the tree branches to pick up the so called Shoto. I wanted to see what was happening so I thought I might as well ask him. Once the older man was gone I flew over to Shoto who to my surprise made no attempt to escape. Using the tree branch I lowered him onto my broom and then I jumped of the broom leaving him there while I put out the fire using one of my spells. Once I put out the fire I made all the trees go back to there original form. After that was done I made my broom fly back down to me.
I smiled at the boy giving him a hand to help him off the broom.
"Who are you?" The boy said coldly as he hot off ignoring my outstretched hand.
"I would love you tell me, I really would, but if I do than how do I know you want turn me in for being a witch?" I questioned him out of habit, but I felt like I could trust him.
"Your a witch. Why did you help me? Do you want something from me? If so what is it?" He said glaring at me. I just saved his life and he has no gratitude for me. People can be so rude.
"Not all witches are mean!" I wispier shouted at him.
"Do you have proof?" He said taking a step back from me.
"Well, I'm a witch and I'm nice!" I say putting my hands on my hips.
"And how do I know that?" He said taking another step back.
"Because if I was mean I would have liked you already. Besides the only reasons witches ever kill people is for self defense." I say smiling at him.
With that the boy who had been glaring at me eyes widened and he seemed to just now realize what his kind was doing.
"They wouldn't have to defend them selves if you witches never started fighting in the first place!" He shot back at me his eye once again glaring at me.
"We didn't start anything, and if we did then I surly don't know what we started." I said tilting my head to the side.
"Look I know humans are nasty creatures but it would take a lot to get us to turn agents an entire species like that" he said looking down. It was obvious that he didn't believe what he was saying. It was like he didn't believe in people.
"Humans? Nasty? Your kidding right? It was just a miss understanding. That's what I believe anyway. All that witch agents human stuff was written so long ago that we have no memory of it. We have no proof it's even true." I say grabbing his hand just for him to pull away and take a couple steps back.
"So what you mean to tell me is that both humans and witches are good and that it was simply a miss understanding?" The boy questioned me.
"Yep!" I say giving him a closed eyed smile.
The boy just nodded his head and started to walk away.
"Eh? Where are you going?" I said grabbing my broom and flying after him.
"Back to that hell whole I can from" the boy said as he started to walk faster.
"I can give you a ride if you want! And maybe we could meet again tomorrow night?" I say as he stops and turns to face me.
"I'm Shoto, Shoto Todoroki." Shoto said offering me his had to shake.
"Izuku! Izuku Midoriya! My friends call me Deku though so feel free to call me that!" I say taking had hand but instead of shaking it I pulled him onto my broom. "I'll give you a ride!" I said happily.
"Eh? Oh um thanks." Shoto said holding onto my broom.
"So you gonna be here tomorrow?" I say hoping for a yes.
"Um, sure" Shoto said looking away nervously.
"Okie!" I said excitedly and took off using one of my barrier spells so no one would see us.
Shoto held on to my waist the second we took flight and dis let go. He must not be used to flying.
After about 5 minutes Shoto pointed at a house so I assumed it was his so I took him to the front door.
"Could you drop me off at that window instead?" Shoto questioned me. I was confused at first but soon realized that his father was probably going to be mad at him.
"Um, sure but I do have one question" I say nervously. After all it's not really any of my business.
"What is it?" Shoto asked me and we flew up to the window.
"That man that was hurting you. Who is he?" I say giving him a sympathetic look.
"Oh him. That's my father, Enji." Shoto tells me then climes from my broom to his window. From inside what appears to be his bedroom he waves goodbye to me and I fly away, exited for tomorrow night.
