The forgotten guardian (Nightmare x reader) ***discontinued***

Chapter 2

3rd POV

"Climb on it!" Yelled (y/n)

Nightmare scrambled to get on the branch without hurting himself more, and once he did the branch started lifting up and to make sure he didn't fell off he sat down holding onto the branch

To make himself not look at the ground he closed his eyes scared since this is the first time doing this

Once the branch made it to where (y/n) was, they picked him up bridal style finally seeing how hurt he is

When nightmare got picked up he scrambles and opens his eyes but blushes a light purple seeing how close he was to them

"C-c-can you p-put me down p-please?" Nightmare asked not used to being carried that wouldn't end up being hurt (bullies)

"Sure just give me a sec" (y/n) said while making their way over to a bed and gently putting him on it and walked away grabbing glass bottles with green liquid in them and returning to nightmare

Nightmare pointed to the bottles and asked "What are those?"

"My healing potions" (y/n) replied while popping the cap to one of them and asked "do you wanna drink the potion or do you want me to just pour it on your body? It works ether way"

"Ummm ... NEITHER!" nightmare yelled the last part and scooted away from (y/n)

"Mm why?" (Y/n) asked "well how I'm I supposed to know that your not lying and actually want to hurt me or KILL me" nightmare said with anger dripping from his voice and only if your good at picking out emotions you could tell there was fear too

"..." (y/n) walked away and grabbed a knife which nightmare didn't notice until (y/n) started coming back and when he did he asked " w-w-what are y-you d-doing???" All he's anger was gone and all that was left was fear, and lots of it

As (y/n) got closer he was trying to back up with all his might but was just met with the tree to his back so he just closed his eyes and covered his face with his arms

When (y/n) got to the side of the bed nightmare was on they lifted the knife

Nightmare got ready for the impact of the knife "..." but nothing happened until "mother fucking hell that hurt like a butt cheek on a stick" yelled (y/n) sounding in pain?

Nightmare let his arms down from his face and opened his eyes to see (y/n)

Nightmare saw (y/n) stab their own arm

"Oooo that hurt like a buttcheek on a stick" (y/n) said with a pained voice

"W-why did you d-do that?!?!?" Nightmare said shocked "For demonstration purposes" (y/n) replied with before drinking the green liquid, Right as nightmare was about to say something about it (y/n)'s arm started glowing and healing itself

Once the glowing stops (y/n)'s arm showed no signs of ever being stabbed in the first place

"ahhhh~ that feels so much better now that it's healed" (y/n) said happily without any pain in their voice while passing a bottle of the green liquid to nightmare and since nightmare saw the effects of the liquid drank it without hesitation because the pain was crossing a line

Nightmare became a sun for a minute after that he was physically healed

Nightmare looked up at (y/n) grabbing a few more of that healing stuff leaving three for them "what are you doing?" He asked "well in case those bullies come back and hurt you, you can use these to quickly heal your self and if you out come fine me I'm mostly in the woods"

"Why are you in the woods?" Nightmare asked

"well because I'm a guardian just like you! " (y/n) replied with a smile while getting up and going over to the side of the tree then jumped down with nightmare doing the same

"What do you mean I thought only me and my brother are guardians?" Nightmare asked in disbelief

"Well actually there is another one but this one is more hidden and less WOW" (y/n) said coming to a stop in front of the bush from earlier

"Which is easer for me because I'm kinda lazy hehe" (y/n) added while scratching their neck

"I have a couple of questions, first why does that do with making potions?" Nightmare asked tilting he's head in confusion

"Oh that? Well that's just a hubby I like and it's a very useful one at that!"(y/n) replied gesturing their hand to hold on a second
