How could we have prevented it? We saw the signs, we witnessed the world collapse and still we did nothing. Humanity paid the ultimate price, for trying to play God and creating a creature with free will. This was the last nail in the coffin, as the black smog it created filled the lungs of every human on the planet. Only the plants and animals seemed to remain and with no production facilities, no progression of construction, and no interference of humans, the world was now at the mercy of mother nature's embrace.
Year after year, the plants of the earth started weeding through the pavement of our roads and sidewalks, creating a vast jungles and forests out of the once stone and metal buildings. The world was terra forming itself to one that can supply without humans, though remnants of that world remains untouched by the vegetation.
Our story now begins a new, and our world now needs the truth to be retold before the last remnants become obscured by an Opaque road.

"Hurry up Lilith! We're gonna miss the sunrise!" A young and happy boy fox pup yelled as he ran towards the cliff side.
"Ugh... I'm coming, I'm coming... Cool your jets Max, I just woke up" an older female fox replied, rubbing her eyes as she caught up with her brother.
The area they were in was a combination of the city of new york and a dense wood. The ocean surrounding the city had drained significantly over the years, leaving behind a concrete cliff side leading to a small beach where the waves gently brushed against the shoreline. The sky was a soft purple color with a bluish green starting to form near the sun rise, and the 2 foxes stared in awe of this amazing sight. The sun rose up to reveal more of the landscape such as the statue of liberty, which remained in tact for the last thousand years. The only things noticable were that it was tattered in some areas and the tips of the torch were dulled down to near flat surfaces.
"Man I love seein the sunrise! It gives the best feeling in the world am I right?" Max asked as he nudged his half asleep sister, who jumped from surprise.
"Oh! Right yeah... Wait what feeling would that be? Cause if its hunger then yeah, its a good feeling to have after waking up." She patted her gurgling stomach and walked off back the way they came.
"Hey wait! I'm hungry too!" The fox pup cried out as he chased his sister only to trip and fall on top of her.
"Ouch!" They both yelled out in pain, Max ended up giggling which caused Lilith to laugh with him.
"Come on captain bowling ball, lets go get some grub." Lilith stood up on all fours and walked with her brother still on her back, through a patch of trees and bushes into the forests of New york city.
