Rylee always wanted to go on a journey to start a new life, but it doesn't always work out the way you want it to. But she found a way around that.

————————

"Ughhh- what do you mean I can't go". Rylee said with an annoyed face and her arms crossed. "You just can't, your Father and I have already said no". Her mother drops with a stern look that shatters Rylee's hopes of getting out of here. No one says anything for some minutes till her Mom breaks the silence.

"Why can't you just stay here with your Father and I." Her mother says with a hopeful tone in her voice to hopefully win her daughter over to stay and live in the village with them. " And think about it, you still have friends here you wouldn't want to leave them behind would you?" Her mother says trying to guilt trip her into staying.

Rylee wasn't having any of it.

So as the day went on Rylee secretly kept packing supplies into her bag so that her mother wouldn't see her doing it. As it came around to dinner when Rylee and her parents were sitting at the dining room table there was silence only the sound of silverware hitting the plates.

Dinner came to an end with no one talking at all, the air was thick and it made it slightly harder for Rylee to breathe, but she quickly dismissed that and  walked out of the room to get away from her parents stares.

—Time Skip to Later that Night—

She was ready to do it.

She put on her converse and tied the laces. She picked up her jacket off the floor and put her arms in the sleeves. And finally she grabbed the bag with supplies in it and put it on her back.

She walked over to her window, but before she opened the window she was trying to think about if this was a good idea or not. She pushed the thought to the back of her head and opened the window slowly trying not to make much noise. As to not wake up her parents.

Her cheeks  went rosy pink as the chilly fall air hit her face. She let out a slow breath of air as she got used to the cold atmosphere around her. She hopped out the window with steady steps trying to remain balanced. She slowly turned back around to close her window. After that she went down towards the edge of the roof and sat down.

She held on tight as to not fall and break something. " I can do this". Rylee whispers with confidence in her voice. She fell down as her body was hanging off the ledge of the roof. And then she dropped down and landed in a crouched position.

She stands up with a smirk on her face. "I finally get to leave this place". Rylee says her in her head as she squeals, throwing her arms up in the air. She suddenly stops realizing she was being pretty loud; she hoped no one heard that. She finally walks off after making sure not to make more noise.

She lets out a blow of air, being able to see it fade away in the night sky as she walks along the path to her new life ahead.
