The Deaf Singer (Shinbaku fanfic)

Chapter 1

Bakugou POV
I woke up with Ruby, my baby husky, licking my hand. I scratch behind her ear and get up out of bed. I grab my hearing aids and put them on. Ruby barks at me with my clothes by her feet, I smile and walk over.
"Good girl, RuRu." I said and petted her.
I change into a a dark blue tank top with a pink sweater and blue jeans. I went downstairs where my mom was cooking while dad was getting ready for work.
"Hi mom, hi dad." I said as I sat down.
"Morning Katsuki." They both replied.
Ruby came down and went to her food bowl, dad came over and ruffled my hair saying bye.
Mom set down some waffles and went to get dressed for work.
"Katsuki, I went ahead and told your school that your deaf and that you bring your pet everywhere." Mom explained.
"Okay, did they have the facility learn ASL?" I asked, as I set my plate in the dishwasher.
"Yes, they did so they'll use signs during your lessons." Mom responded as she shouldered her purse and kissed my head.
"Be careful Katsuki." Mom told me and headed out the door to work.
I nodded and grabbed my bag. I turned off my hearing aids and Ruby came beside me. I locked the door and headed to UA, the school where a lot of pro heroes graduate from.
I was halfway to school with Ruby by my side when I suddenly fell on the ground. I felt Ruby's paw on my leg and saw an outstretched hand in front of my face.
I look up and see a tall male with blonde hair, a black lightning bolt in his hair, and yellow eyes. He says something but I haven't learned to read lips yet, so I don't know what he is saying. I tap my ears as a way of saying I can't hear you, and I see a look of realization come across his face. He types something out on his phone and hands it to me.
*I'm so sorry for bumping into you and not realizing your deaf.*
I chuckled and typed, *Its fine, really.*
