"Did you have a girlfriend when you were alive?" Kaminari asked Izuku while sitting on a branch from a tree. "Or a boyfriend?"

"What? N-No..." Izuku mumbled in reply.

He looked deep in thought. "Well... actually there was this one time when I had a girlfriend. It turns out my brother paid her to fake it for a while."

Kaminari's face turned shocked. "Dude that's horrible! If I had a brother I'd totally kill him!"

"It's fine! I know it's cruel but my brother-"

"You should be more angry!" the electrification-quirk user half-scolded. Then he sighed and started swinging his legs. "You should be one of those ghosts who jump-scares people in a horror game."

"Is that supposed to be a compliment?"

"You definitely have the scary look," Kaminari rambled off. He scanned Izuku's slightly transparent body. "And the backstory too. But no anger!"

He exaggerated those last words so much it sounded like it was the end of the world.

"You've got some wrong, actually," Izuku corrected, trying to calm the other down. "Of course I was angry. At the time. And I still want to take revenge on my family. But I'm not going to take it out on random people."

Kaminari's legs started swinging slower. Then depressingly, he said, "Agh, I hate it when people have a point."

They both shared a moment of silence.

"I do keep a charm from my brother though," Izuku said out of the blue. Like magic, a blue-green star appeared out of nowhere and into his hand. "It was originally a necklace but I guess it fell off when I died."

There was nothing particularly special about it. The star was small and plastic, on top was a tiny broken half of a circle which Kaminari assumed was to keep the star on the chain.

"But I thought you hated your brother and he was mean to you or something."

"I do. But he was 5 or 6 when he gave this to me and he wasn't as awful as he was when he grew up. I wish he stayed that way."

As Kaminari tried to think of what to say to that, a brilliant idea came to his mind. "I know! I'll be your brother instead!"

"You'll what?"

"Your brother is terrible, right? Then I'll be a better brother than your brother ever was!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"Really?!" Izuku's eyes managed to catch a glint of light in them somehow. Or maybe it was just Kaminari's imagination.

"Mhm! You can trust me 110%!"

Izuku's smile stayed bright, but wavered for a second. He looked down at his palm, then after some thinking, he held it out. "Then can I trust you with this?"

The blond reached out and grabbed the star without a second thought. "Totally! And I don't think you ever lose things but here."

Kaminari pulled out a bracelet from his pocket and handed it to Izuku. "Some of my classmates gave it to me as an apology. I dunno for what, though."

Izuku squinted at the bracelet. "Are these real jewels?"

"Yeah!" Kaminari bragged. "This girl in my class is super rich so she made it. I don't know if she made it with her quirk or used jewels from her house but either way it's cool, isn't it?"

Izuku nodded, clutching the bracelet.

"But we aren't swapping forever, right?" He asked with nervousness. "I still want to have my star charm."

"Oh yeah, I didn't think about that." Kaminari didn't seem troubled by it. "Why don't we give them back after a few days? Like five?"

"Sure, that works."

Kaminari swiftly hopped down from the tree and shouted, "I promise I won't lose it!"
