"Will you please stop controlling me, Mom?!"

Natigilan ako sa pag pasok sa loob dahil sa sigawan, agad akong linapitan ng isang kasambahay na mukhang natatakot din.

"What's going on?"

I asked while letting her get my bag.

"Si Sir Minther at Madame po, nag aaway."

"Si Dad?"

"Wala pa po."

I sigh and got nervous, if Dad isnt here yet, I don't think I can handle the situation. Mabagal ang galaw ko at pumasok, patuloy padin ang pag tatalo ni Mommy at Kuya.

"Kailan ka pa nawalan ng respeto Minther?! I'm your mother! You're not in the position to choose whatever is your fucking choice! Ako padin ang masusunod!"

I winced because of what Mom said, even her words can hurt us. And there she is again, ito na naman ang pag aawayan nila.

"No, Mom. Malaki na ako, I can live on my own and sustain my own needs. Don't threaten me." Kuya is all red with his veins.

My heart is breaking into pieces while watching them fighting, ang bigat bigat sa dibdib makita ang pamilya ko na unti unting nasisira.

"Oh, really? Wala ka na ngang utang na loob, I'm the one who dressed you! Who feed you! Tapos ganiyan lang igaganti mo?!"

"No! Because I've done enough! I did not follow my dreams just to obey you! Isn't that enough?! Kaunti nalang maaabot ko na ang pangarap ko! But you ruined it!"

"Are you out of your mind, huh, Minther?!"

"You're the one who's out of your mind! Akala mo ba hindi ko alam na you paid half of my instructors para sirain ako at hindi mabagsak?!"

Tuluyan akong nanghina sa narinig, I gasped loudly, making them turn to me. Unti unting binabasag ang dibdib ko ng tuluyang tumulo ang luha ni Kuya. He turn to Mom again who was pale, scared that Kuya actually knew her secret.

How could her?

"That's my dream..."

He mumbled and wipe his tears. Another series of sobs broke free from him, the same time where I can hear my Mother's cry.

"You ruined it..."

Mom covered her mouth, shaking her head.

"You ruined me, Mom..."

I brush my hair frustratedly, Mom kept on shaking her head, mumbling no amidst of her sobs.

"No..." Nakayuko ito habang umiiling. "I... did it for you..."

That's bullshit! Nag pakahirap si Kuya mag aral, he was almost there! Almost there to proceed law and yet... she ruined it!

"Hindi ko s-sinasadya... I p-promise—"

"I'm done with this."

Nataranta si Mommy ng mag simulang humakbang paalis si Kuya.

"Minther please! Listen to me, anak!"

She cried while following Kuya, and I failed to maintain my strength that I fell down on the ground with my tears and sobs.

Inalalayan ako ng mga kasambahay at inalo, but nothing can make me feel better. Why? Bakit gagawin ni Mommy 'yon sa sarili niyang anak?

Kuya was betrayed by his own Mother... of all people, bakit si Mommy pa?
