Blood, people, shouts, and laughs... Everything noticeable around is the metal prisons of the underground building, where the only light available is the ridiculous little light bulbs. The only thing inside all the identical rooms, being around hundreds of them, was a bed and a clock on the wall.

In one of them, someone suddenly woke up completely wet with sweat, and some tears on her cheeks. It took her time to slow down her heavy breathing and trembling hands. The expression of terror continued on her face, and the loud sounds from outside the room didn't help at all.

— Come on, deep breaths and count. — Mumbled to herself, and started to count from 1 to 10, forcing her to breathe slowly and drop between each number.

With time, her anxiety disappeared, and closing her eyes, she prepared herself for the beginning of the new day. Her being got up, and stretched her body to make it creak, she looked at the giant clock.

6:00 am; the moment the doors opened, and the tight schedule set started.

With a tired sigh, she prepared herself for the following event, after all, it was only 2 hours, and then enjoying the breakfast; it had been worse on other days, more hours, more intensity, and much more demanding.

Like someone had read her thoughts, the alarm of the doors being opened sounded all around the floor. She left her bedroom and walked through the long hallway while greeting people that were starting they daily routines. On the way to the laboratory, she saw a little boy still in his bedroom, sitting on his bed and with a fixed glance at the wall in front of him.

A little smile appeared on the girl's face, and she approached the boy and sat next to him. Then, she surrounded him with her arm around his shoulders, bringing him out of his daze.

— Are you OK?

He looked at her surprised, but at the moment he realized it was her, a huge smile appeared on his face.

— Sis! — He jumped to hug her.

She laughed while returning the hug.

— Hello Microbe, I see that you have a lot of energy today.

She couldn't see his face, but she could assure that the boy rolled his eyes.

—How many times Have I told you not to call me that? I am not a little boy anymore.

—Whatever, Dai, whatever. —Answered him while she kissed his cheek.

—And, as always, you always do what you want. I think I can never remove that name from your mind.

— That is the only sensible thing you've ever said in your life. — She kissed his cheek another time.

— You are a moron. — He tried to pull away from her pampering, but it was a futile attempt, so she simply let himself go.

After some other kisses, she stopped from all the kisses, and let her brother his private space.

— Don't you have to go? — Asked Dai.

— Yes, unfortunately. — The girl, after answering Dai's question, yawned, attracting the boy's attention, and frowning his eyebrows.

— Hey, look at me. —Ordered her, holding her sister's face, and forcing her to look at him. Big shiners and red eyes from crying decorate the girl's face. After some seconds, he sighed. — Nightmares?

— I can't hide anything from you. Yes, nightmares. And yes, of the same.

— I have told you a thousand times, you are not guilty of all this. And the only thing that causes that guilt is problems with you and your sleep.

She was about to answer, but a voice from the speakers interrupted her.

—Please, 007, come to the laboratory in 5 minutes to start the daily session.

—Well, I have to go. — Rested his forehead on Dai's, and then she approached her nose to her brother's, doing an Eskimo kiss. — I love u, and remember that after all, you are my star that lights my way in this darkness.

— I love you, sis.

Finally, she got up and walked to the end of the hallway, and her hell.
