I wake up the next morning later than usual. I check my phone for the time. 10:00 that's way later than usual. I get ready for the morning and make my way downstairs.

"You slept in late." My mom greets me. "I made you breakfast." Her, my mom making me breakfast. That seems a little suspicious. She then hands me a plate with 2 eggs 2 bacon and a slice of french toast on it.

"Um... Thanks." I examine the breakfast. Did she poison it?

"Do you not want it." She asks.

"No, it's just you haven't made breakfast like this for me in years." I sit down across from her.

"Well I'm trying to make a few changes I guess." she smiled. *Bing* I get a text. I finish up my breakfast and check my phone. Sophie had texted me

"Wanna meet at the park..... Again."

            "If yes is 11:30 good."

               I respond with.

"11:30 seems good!" Why does she want to meet up again? Is the rest of the group going to be there? Or just some of the group. After an hour I start to make my way out the door.

"Where are you going now?" My mom asks raising her eyebrow.

"Just going to the park to see my friend," I reply, my hand on the door nob.

"Mk, Just make sure to bring your phone." She says.

"K" I leave the house and make my way to the park.  A few minutes later I spot the park in the distance and then I see Sophie sitting on the short stone wall that surrounds the gate.

"There you are," Sophie smiles. "I got here a lot earlier than I was supposed to so I had to wait a while."

"So why did you invite me here?" I ask as Sophie slides off the wall.

"I just wanted to hang out. Get to know each other better." Sophie smiles. "Being the only girl in the group is kinda lonely." We walk a little bit in the park passing many dogs that Sophie had to ask if she could pet.

"So what's your favorite color, mine is purple," Sophie asks.

           "Indigo," I answer.

"Ok now you ask a question and we go back and forth," Sophie instructs. "I call it the question game."

"Umm, do you have any pets?" I question going along with this game.

"I have two mini lop rabbits one is called Cinnamon and the other is called Oreo." She replies. "Now you answer the question."

"No, I do not have any pets," Saying this hurt. She only died three days ago but it oddly seems like it was longer than that.

"What about skills and or talents," Sophie asks, probably just so she can answer.

"I like to draw," I answer for what seems to be the 100th time this month.

"Oh, yeah I remember you mentioned that." She continues to walk along the dirt path.  I feel small wet drops of rain land on the top of my head and my shoulder. Sophie stops and looks up at the sky now flooded with grey clouds.

"It seems I forgot to check the weather." Sophie laughs. "Wanna come to my house and we can continue to talk." We run down the path and out the park gate. The rain is getting heavier.  We race down the road and eventually make it to Sophies' small house.
