Prolouge: Starting the club

Sayori's Pov

I wake up tired, like usual, but again I force myself out of bed

'I should try to meet up with (y/n) and Michael'

I hope to myself that today would be the day where I confess to (y/n), although I doubt he'd like me back. I check the time and to my surprise it's 8:34!? I quickly get dressed and grab some cereal bars.

I run out the door towards the school where I find Michael alone walking through the gates

"Hi Michael! Where's (y/n)?"

Michael: "oh he's off sick today.. looked pale as a ghost.."

"Oh that's horrible.."

Michael: "yeah.. so why haven't you came over in a while, I think he might miss you"

"He...he does?"

Michael: "yeah, of course he does, your his best friend after all"

"I'm his best friend.."

The bell rings so we run to our first classes after a quick "see you later!"

Timeskip

I'm eating alone like usual when a girl with long brown hair walks past with a stack of paper

'Wait isn't that?'

"Hey Monika! Need any help?"

Monika: "oh hi Sayori, and yes please, I'm starting a literature club so I have some leaflets"

"Wait are you in (y/n)'s class?"

Monika: "(y/n) (l/n)? Yeah him and his brother were in my class last year, now it's just me and (y/n)"

"So where do you want me to take these?"

Monika: "oh you take half and follow me"
We go to a room with a few teachers and Monika explains her idea for the literature club, the teachers approve of the idea then give us the key to a room for the club activities.

Monika: "so Sayori, how would you like to be Vice President of the literature club?"

"I would love to, thank you"
I hug her slightly then we go to recruit new members

Your PoV

I'm laying in bed with a headache, I'm sick and hungry.

"*groan* this sucks.... I wonder what's going on at school..."

Mc's PoV

'Damn I wish I was at home'

Monika's PoV

Me and Sayori are just posting our fliers in the corridors when I run into a girl with purple hair reading a nook alone

"Hi, I'm Monika. I see you like books, would you perhaps want to join my new literature club?"

Yuri: "hello, my name is Yuri, and I would love to join. Is there anything you want me to do first? Do I need to sign something?"

"Well, I don't think you need to sign anything but if you could help out with these fliers that would be appreciated"

Yuri: "alright, here let me take some"

Sayori's pov

I'm helping Monika by posting fliers around the school when a small girl with a box of manga walks up to me

???: "I noticed your advertising a literature club"

"Yes I am, are you interested in joining?"

Natsuki: "yes please, I'm Natsuki"
