Missions with the rookies

Over the next three months the genin were stuck in a cycle of meaningless D ranks and training team 8 had reached the required 75 D ranked missions to start doing C ranks on their fist C rank they were introduced to naruto

Hokage's office

"Team 8 reporting for a C rank mission hokage sama" stated kurani "let's see how hat we have"said Hiruzen as he flicked threw the pile of missions "ah here we go it's a simple mission to the border of fire country theirs a shipment of medical herbs waiting for delivery" kurani accepted the mission,team 8was startled when another nin appeared kneeling in font of them "mission complete sensei" "good job Naruto you can stand" Naruto was decked out in a black short sleeve T-shirt, black anbu trousers tucked into his ninja boots with steel toe-caps, over that was black shin guards along with forearm protectors but the most noticeable features were the black/red fox mask and the crimson red hair. " sensei could I take another mission" "Naruto you know you have to let other teams get missions as well" "hai hai I hear you this will be my last one of the week unless I'm needed" "fine here you go it's a simple B rank, protect team 8 behind you to the docks at the border town of Miyagi from there you are to go to the next town over due east and engage a camp of missing nin and thugs you should be more then enough to deal with them" taking the scroll Naruto turned around to team 8 and bowed "Ohio it's a pleasure to meet you all" kurani was the first to greet Naruto "hello Naruto san me and my team will meet up at the main gate in an hour" "ok I will be there" he then disappeared in a red flash

An hour later team 8 and Naruto were checking their equipment
"So as it's your first time outside the village we're going to check the stuff your bringing with you, ok first and foremost tent" the three genin pulled a tent out of their bag "good, good, good..... Naruto were's your tent" "I don't need one My chakra is so potent that any chakra I don't use gets turned into energy, I only have to sleep about an hour every week" accepting the answer she moved on going threw the list of essentials. Once done they started moving "shadow clone jutsu" Naruto said with a half ram hand sign the team were surrounded by twenty Naruto's they all then used a henge some turning into ninja that could regularly be seen around the village and some turned into animals and went into the brush to hide, team 8 looked at Naruto confused "there's power in numbers my clones are solid objects. If the enemy thinks there's more of us then them they'll think twice before attacking" after hearing this kurani had to ask "Naruto san what rank are you" "I'm a genin why" "well it's just that you act like a chenin or jōnin why don't you have a sensei" "I do it's just that it's the hokage when I fist started I had a team of chenin or jōnin with me until sensei though I could do missions solo" "ano W..wh..when was th..that"asked hinata "to be honest I can't remember I did spend the first two years doing missions inside the village mainly protection detail" after that they walked in silence soaking in the information.
After eight hours of walking at civilian pace, Kurani decided it was time to set up camp for the night so they found a small clearing away from the road. Team 8 setup their tents while Naruto got started on a fire, several of his clones set up a barrier the size of the clearing and some of the clones henged as wolves went hunting for a deer. "Naruto san what are your clones doing" asked shino "my clones are doing jobs that you can't do yet, no offence to team 8 from what I've seen so far your a team of good trackers but currently you don't know how to hunt by your self and your liable to make mistakes, I learnt how to hunt to survive but I started a lot erlyer then you three so it's easier to send out a few clones. The other clones put up a barrier so we can't be seen or heard"
"Who taught you fuinjutsu" asked kurani "sensei did, well as far as he could do anyway after level six I was on my own". When the clones came back with a deer naruto skinned and prepped the meat before cooking for everyone, team 8 went to sleep leaving Naruto on sentry.

Team 8 spent the next three days moving at genin speed towards miyagi, naruto then escorted team 8 to the docks "kurani san I must go finish my mission I will meet you back on the road to konaha" "ok uzumaki san" naruto reached into his pouch and removed a single kuni handing it to kurani " my clones will stay with you but incase you need backup" with his peace said he disappears in a red flash. Over the next day team 8 went threw all the medial supplies and packed them up in scrolls. The next morning team 8 and clones started on the root back to the leaf, Naruto on the other hand was carving his way threw the enemy camp as they slept however Naruto came across a man with crimson hair immediately naruto knew he was an uzumaki so decided that the man would have an honourable death
