Cramps

Jo was laying there, staring at the clock, watching time pass her by. 11:37 1:14 3:27
She watched the clock as her boyfriend, Aaron, just slept holding her close to his body. A shooting pain went straight threw her as she yelped in pain, grabbing her pillow. Aaron woke immediately.
"Babe? A real you okay? What's going on? " He questioned. As she curled into a ball clutching her lower abdomen, in tears.
"It's okay their just some cramps. " She explained brokenly.
"It's obviously not okay, your curled up in a ball holding your stomach! " He spoke with worried in his voice. Jo let out a breath of air and sat up.
"I'm okay, their gone now. " She said,
"Are you sure your gonna be okay?" He asked rubbing her back.
"Yeah I promise, I get them every month. " She said turning back to look at him, " I just wasn't expecting big ones like that until later. I'm sorry I woke you. "
"Have you slept at all? " He could see the bags under her eyes.
"No, not really, it's hard to sleep with cramps. " She said looking back in front of her.
"How about I go get you some chocolate? There's gotta be a gas station near here. " He said starting to get up.
"No, " Jo looked at him with the biggest puppy dog eyes he's ever seen. "Please, just cuddle with me?"
"Of course, Jo, come here." He pulled her back down next to him her back against his, as he stroked her hair, she whispered "I'm sorry you have to deal with this the first time you spent the night. I promise next time will be a lot more fun"
Slowly but surely they fell asleep, her pressed against him and him stroking her hair.
