this is something I started two fucking years ago and have no intention of ever finishing, enjoy this cringe]It was a warm sunny day, the birds where singing and the sun was shining brighter than ever before, Thomas knew something special must be happening, as there is NEVER sun where he lives. He walked down stairs humming a tune to himself, "Good morning mother and father" he said as he entered the kitchen, "Good morning Thomas, you ready for your first day at Harvard University?" Asked his dad, without even looking away from his newspaper. Thomas spit out his milk, "THAT'S TODAY?!" He exclaimed. "Don't tell me you forgot" His mother said with a sigh as she cleaned up the milk, unsure what to say, Thomas chose to make a smart remark instead, "I didn't forgot, I never knew in the first place" He said with a smirk. His father chuckled while his mother slapped herself, "Go and get your bags Thomas, I'll drop you to school in half an hour" she sighed. And they did just that, soon Thomas found himself and the gates of his school looking around for any familiar faces, and he saw one, but as soon as he realised who, he wished he could sink into a hole in the ground.
"Well well well" said a familiar voice, "Thomas the Twerp, surprise seeing you here, I didn't think you'd get into this school" "at least I'm smarter than you are" Thomas mumbled to himself before shoving the boy over "Derek. You've tormented me since high school, why can't it stop now that we're in a new school?" Derek stood up, "Your lucky my parents are over there, otherwise you would REALLY get it!" Derek clenched his fists before walking away, leaving Thomas alone once again, no matter how much Thomas hated Derek, he still wanted someone he knew to be near him, maybe then he would find his way around. He followed Derek into the gates of the school and tried to stay far enough behind so that he wouldn't seem like a duck following it's mother, but Derek seemed to have noticed, because he stopped dead in his tracks and turned around, "What are you, my three year old brother?! Get lost twerp!" He pushed Thomas over and left. "Great, on my own again" Thomas mumbled to himself.
