Everyone in your class were outside in the woods studying for final exams, and Professor Koro was running around to each and every one of you, helping you study.
"You got the basics down cold over the past semester, students. At this rate, I expect your grades on finals to shoot right up." He chuckled.
After he talked to a few students and answered questions, he had something to show us.
"Now, then... As Shiro said, when I lose a tentacle, I also lose speed." He then shot one of his tentacles off. "As you can see, even one tentacle makes a difference." You guys all then looked at the chair that he sits on, and he seemed a lot smaller when he sat down there. "I can't keep up the quality of my images, and now there's a few child image mixed in. Lose one more," He shot another one. "and you get more child images with the parent image fretting about how to make ends meet."
"Yay!" The three kid versions of Professor Koro said as they ran across the field.
Next to the kids, was a family eating dinner together.
"Lose yet another, and now the father image has vanished, leaving the mother image to raise the children on her own."
That's so cruel, I-
"Each tentacle lost reduces my movement capability by approximately ten percent. Here's the deal: each student who receives a top score, either overall or in an individual subject, will have the right to destroy one tentacle." Everyone looked up and it kinda sounded promising. "This is the final exam for our assassination classroom. Can you get any closer to that ten-billion-yen prize? That, my students, is up to you." He said.
Those words kinda motivated you and made you want to try harder.
When you guys were back in the building, you guys had some free time. You were hanging out with Kaede, Nagisa, Okuda, and Sugino.
"Once tentacle for each top score..." Nagisa crossed his arms.
"Yeah, let's try our best!" Okuda said.
"Since when are you ever this fired up, Okuda?" Karma asked sitting from his desk.
"Well, since science is my one strong suit, I might finally be able to help everyone out!"
"We have our share of high-scoring students here. Acing one subject each isn't that far fetched! Right, (Y/N)?" Kaede looked at you.
She knew you had high scores and she trusted you, since you were originally in Class A.
"Right." You replied.
You guys then heard Sugino's phone vibrate, and it was from Shindo.
"Shindo?" He answered the phone. "Hello? Hey, what's up? Haven't seen you since the tournament." Sugino then put his phone on speaker so others can hear.
"Yeah, hell of a game. I said we'd have our rematch in high school, but now I'm worried you won't even make it here." Shindo said, and Sugino chuckled.
"Still condescending as ever, I see."
"So listen... Right now, the entirety of the A Class our accelerated program, is in a conference room for an independent study session. Their leaders are the pride of Kunugigaoka: a set of geniuses known as the Big Five."
You then flinched in the sound of the familiar name.
"You know them?" Nagisa quietly asked you, and you nodded.
Even though you were just behind Asano, you weren't interested in hanging out with them. You were somewhat friends with him, but you weren't really part of their gang.
