As i wake up to the sound of my alarm going off i turn over on my back staring at the ceiling in a daze. 5 more min wouldn't hurt right I thought, as i sit up to hit the option on my phone, something clicked in my head
"Wait what time is it? "
"Ohh shit !!!! I'm late!!! "
I immediately got up like my ass was on fire and ran to the bathroom to get ready. Luckily my work clothes were already in there so i didn't have to scramble to find them.
"Ughhhh Damn it 🤦🏾‍♀️ i knew i heard my alarm going off in my dream, but I didn't know it was really going off, i gotta call my manager and tell im on my way"
*phone ringing

"Hey um-"
" where are you !! your shift started 20 min ago!!, are you coming in or what!! "
"I'm sorry I'm on my way now I'll be there in 4 min "
"Fine, no later than 4 min "

I put my phone in my bag and finish getting ready to go

I say as i walk out the bathroom with my bag and go into the kitchen to get her cat food.

"Ok pretty girl eat up,
Alright I'll be back sumi su"
I grab my keys and my bag and head out "damn it, it just had to rain lol out all days i wish it didn't"
I quickly get into my car put my seatbelt on and drove off to work.
"Finally, hell you said 4min miss smith"
"I know I'm sorry, i can make up for today by closing tonight?"
" hmmm ok that seem fair but come in late again and you'll need another job, got it "
"Got it"
Finally i take a big sigh of relief as i held in my breathe just hoping the conversation would end faster i begin to think about what i had in store for me today and plus how much of an ass my manager was gonna be toward me for the rest of the day.
