Hi it's me, the author~
It's been awhile since this story has been updated, and the reason is because it's technically complete. I know the ending may be a bit abrupt and unsatisfactory, but it was something that had been in my drafts for around two years, and I decided to just go ahead and publish it (plot holes be damned).
Yes, there is a sequel, but I haven't really written it. As mentioned above, there are quite a bit of plot holes, and they really became problems when I had to start fleshing out the second book. Because of that, I just stopped writing it.
One day, I may rewrite this story and continue onto the sequel, but we'll have to see. In the meantime, please tell me what you think, as well as anything you'd like to see in the story should I write it!
(P.S. my writing style has changed quite a bit since I wrote and published this story, and I cringe every time I read snippets of it TT)
