Forbidden Love [Jiaqi x Xueer]

"Fuck we are in deep shit. Why the fuck did we not think that the government would have a whole ass military here? After all their cowards." Keyin spat while adjusting her mask. Keran was racking her brain, trying to keep calm and composed while thinking of a plan while Yuyan and Jiaqi were keeping an eye out for any incoming attacks. So far, the four were hidden behind the row of seats inn the back of the arena.

"Come out you little pesky vampires. It's obvious four against thousands of us is not gonna work out. Just surrender now instead of wasting your energy." The commander's voice rung loudly in the arena through a megaphone in a threatening and teasing tone.

"Listen up. Keyin and I will distract them with our wind manipulation and try to destroy as many of their weapons if we can. Jiaqi and Yuyan will go full out on combat mode, doesn't matter if they have armour. Use your power and strength. If it doesn't work we'll have to retreat again and think of something new." Smartly appointing roles, Keran then patted Keyin's shoulders, "Let's go. The both of you will come in when you hear even the faintest groan of pain from the humans."

Nodding their heads, Yuyan and Jiaqi exchanged a glance as the other two disappeared into thin air. Not long after, a slight reaction from the humans made the two get on their feet and sprint towards the center of the arena where fog has covered up the whole place.

With ease, Jiaqi and Yuyan worked together to find spots between armour plates to stab them right in the flesh. While on the other hand, Keran and Keyin were utilising their speed to snatch their weapons away before breaking them into dust.

However, the humans had put up a fight too. One even managed to hit Jiaqi right in the stomach as she slowed down when trying to find the spot to pierce through. It started becoming much challenging as they started firing random bullets without seeing the four.

Jiaqi clenched her jaws as she spun the dagger in her hands before stabbing it right by the man's neck. Yuyan had accidentally missed a spot which caused her to hit in the rib with a machine gun. Ignoring the pain, she hissed and smashed her dagger right through his helmet in a fit of rage.

It was a blood bath.

Just then, a bullet was fired straight at Keyin's head, but luckily Jiaqi used telekenises and reversed the bullet right into the man's head. That was when she switched from combat to using her real power other than super strength and speed.

As her eyes started glowing a dark shade of red, she started rising from the ground as a ring of light blue light with strange patterns formed around her. When the agents saw this, they couldn't help but to feel a new sense of fear while the other 3 vampires smirked knowingly.

Raising her right arm, Jiaqi had the tanks being crushed to bits before swinging the compressed piece of metal  across the arena, knocking down half of the soldiers like they were bowling pins. With this opportunity when everyone was scared lifeless, Yuyan, Keyin and Keran started sprinting to one soldier to another, attacking them by surprise.

Just when things started to get into the vampires' control, a bullet was suddenly fired. Since Jiaqi was ambushed by at least a hundred soldiers, she didn't have enough time to completely dodge it, not to mention the bullet was fired with astounding accuracy. With a single graze, blood started flowing out endlessly.

However, she didn't flinch. All she could see was the sight in front of her. There was a familiar blonde, holding a metallic gun with smoke coming out of it while by her side was a redheaded who was handcuffed and contained in a reinforced plastic box with holes.

"So, liked my little surprise?" Yuxin smirked evilly, her eyes glinted with satisfaction.

Yuyan, Keyin and Keran had one soldier held in front of them as hostages as they looked at what was going on at Jiaqi's side. Of course it sent shock down their spines seeing Yuxin with a gun and Xueer trapped in a box, unconscious.

"I knew it. I fucking knew it." Cursing under her breath, Keran felt anger rushing through her veins. She finally remembered. She was the one who killed her brother. Since the memory was all blurry, she couldn't pinpoint it down till now. Yuxin was an elite vampire hunter.

Yuyan clenched her fists and went on a rampage mode. She was angry enough that Jiaqi got shot and she wasn't there to protect her when she's her bodyguard. But the fact that Yuxin was a vampire hunter made her blood boil even more. In a few seconds, she had stabbed almost half of the hundreds of soldiers right in the head or chest, piercing right through their armour. Keyin and Keran too. They were just as mad.

'Hang on. We're coming over.' Yuyan sent a signal to Jiaqi who was still feeling waves of emotions wash against her. Her eyes were fixated on Xueer who was laying in Yuxin's arms woth a gun now pointed at her head. Worry and anger engulfed her as the ruby red colours of her eyes turned an even deeper shade of red.

"Let her go. She's fucking innocent." Jiaqi felt anger, worry, panic, shock and regret seeping through her body. Her voice was as hard as steel, not wanting to show any of her true emotions to Yuxin.

Yuxin shook her head and laughed sinisterly before pointing the gun up into the air and firing it, gaining all soldiers' attention. It was a signal for them to stop fighting. So they stopped. The other three vampires couldn't care less about the soldiers except Jiaqi right then. Rushing to her, Yuyan hurriedly took out a bandage from her pocket and wrapped it around her thigh while Keyin and Keran roared at Yuxin.

"What is your problem? Leave Xue- the human alone. She's not involved!"

Yuxin only laughed harder and smiled creepily, "And you think I'm going to listen to you animals?"

Hissing with threat, Keyin glared at the blonde, "We'll have to take her away from you with force then."

Jiaqi's gaze never left Xueer who did not seem like she was gaining conscious any time soon. Nodding to Yuyan that she was better now, Jiaqi stood up and adjusted her mask. She had to fight harder, push harder, and overcome these waves of regret and frustrations.

Slowly dragging herself towards Yuxin who had a brow raised with curiosity, Jiaqi's hands started turning a dark shade of blue as her eyes shone blood red. A strong force of wind came by before a thousand or so bats came rushing into the arena. That was when the other three vampires dealt with the soldiers who started ambushing them.

Another round has begun.

Other vampires had finally arrived, assisting the other three while Jiaqi went face to face with Yuxin. The bats had managed to work together and snatch Yuxin's weapons away, letting the two leaders going in on a full combat mode. Jiaqi was ready to put her life on the line if it meant saving Xueer.
