Chapter 5

Zoe's POV:

I jumped, turning to where Alfie stood, "Oh my gosh Alfie you scared me to death." "So what's going on with you and him?" he asked the question again.

"Nothing why?" I asked feeling nervous. Don't tell me he's about to question everything about it, I just want sleep.

"I just want to know what is going on but you say it's nothing. So I'll trust you. Night Zoe." He moved closer to me. Kissed my check and left me standing there.

***Morning***

I woke up around 11:30 which is weird since I always wake up early. I think I'll take a shower and get ready for today.

I stepped into the shower and started to wash my hair and body. Once I was done I turned the water off and wrapped a towel around my body.

After getting dried off I slipped on some black lace undergarments. I pulled on some skinny jeans and a Rolling Stones tee shirt.

I went to the bathroom to do my makeup. I put on some foundation, concealer, and powder to set them. A little blush and loads of mascara. I wasn't doing much today before the date so I'll keep it simple.

I need to go shopping for my date so I'll call my friend Alisha to come with me.

She finally answered after 3rd ring. "Hello?" she sounded tired, everybody must be waking up late today. "Hey Girl!" "Oh Hey Zoe! How are you?" "I'm good I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping today?? I have a date tonight and I wanted to see if you could help!"

"I would love too and mind telling me who the lucky lad is?" I could see her smiling through the phone. "Niall Horan." "What how?! When did you meet him?" she asked excitedly on the other side. "I'll explain once we get there and we can eat lunch there too if you would like." I assure her. We said our goodbyes and I started to scroll through my phone when I got a text from her saying she's on her way there.

I grabbed my purse off the hook and slipped on my socks and white converse. I headed to my car once I grabbed my keys off the counter and shut the door.

Once I got to mall I immediately saw Alisha; her brown hair was down and she had on the same thing as me except red converse instead.

"Oooh look at us twinning and being cute!" Alisha squealed when she saw me and how we had the same outfit on. "I missed you; I haven't seen you in forever." I said hugging her and she hugged me back.

"I know right! So did he tell you where y'all were going?" she questioned as we passed a few stores looking for the right one to walk into.

"We'll he said it was a nice restaurant and to dress formal but not to formal." I tried to explain the little details I got about the date. "I think I know the perfect place!" She exclaimed grabbing my hand dragging me into what looked like a dress boutique.

"Here go try this on." she threw a couple dresses to me. I walked in and saw an assortment of different color dresses she gave me. I decided to try the black tight dress on.

"Hurry up! Its 1 o'clock!" "Alright alright. Don't get pushy." I opened the door and stepped out.

I stepped out. She stared at me and the dress intensely. "Hmm. It's not so elegant as I thought; it's more club type. No good! Change into another."

I slipped on a red dress that was long sleeve, had lace on all of it and it was looser than the other one. "I'm coming out!" I shouted through the door.

"It's cute! But I don't know if it's the right one. Decide between the others and try one more on." I stepped in the fitting room once more.

I was looking through the dresses; there was 3 more left. A mint colored one, a navy blue, and a pink. I'll try the blue one on.

I slipped on the dress; it fit perfectly. It had a tight fit on my stomach which wasn't so comfortable but it made me look skinnier so I could deal with it. It had more than one layer of fabric on the bottom that made it poof out a little. ((look at the picture))

I stepped out hoping for a good comment. I really did like this dress a lot. "Oh my gosh Zoe! That dress is amazing! It looks great on you. Turn around look in the mirror. You're defiantly getting that dress."

I looked in the mirror. I absolutely love this dress. I'm getting it no matter what.

"Alright that will be $75.89" the cashier told me. I paid and we started walking to the food court. *Ding!* My phone went off; I looked down to see a text from Niall.

Nialler:
Hey love, I'm sorry. I forgot to mention the dates at 8:00. Is that fine with you? Again sorry about me not telling you.

"Ooooh is that lover boy?" Alisha teased, I looked up to see her looking over me smirking.

"Yes it is. He told me the dates at 8." I smiled at her. "Alright we'll we need to hurry up! Do you have any shoes that can go with the dress?" "Yeah I have some black pumps."

We got to the food court; I sat down while Alisha went and ordered Nandos.

She came back with the food and I immediately started eating. "Its 4 o'clock and the dates at 8. So we need to get you home, get you a shower and ready for tonight." Alisha explained.

"Okay. How is it already 4?" "Let's just say you take forever to try on dresses." she laughed.

We left and started driving to the house.

Once we got there I was immediately given instructions to go take a shower and get cleaned up while Alisha gets everything set up for my hair and makeup.

After my shower ((not going into too much detail here)) I put on some undergarments and a silky rob.

"Okay we need to blow dry your hair then we'll curl it." "Okay." Alisha started to blow dry my hair getting all the pieces dry. Then she began curling it.

She finally finished curling every piece to perfection when it hit 6 o'clock. She began doing my makeup. I told her I didn't need that much, but then she went on saying how I'm going on a date with The Niall Horan and needed to look amazing.

She only put on a light amount of foundation and powder. A lot of mascara. Some blush; I finally gave in and let her contour my face just a little. A lip gloss. Then she put on a light eyeshadow color, then blended it with a darker color. I don't even want to ask what A LOT of makeup is to her considering she said this was a little.

"Oh my gosh where is this boy?!" Alisha practically screamed walking in from the kitchen. "Alisha..Chill. It's only 7:55." I replied while brushing out my dress a little more. I put my dress on and pumps a little while ago, I had a small heart necklace on and a little sliver chain bracelet.

Right when Alisha began to rant again about how he better be on time; the door bell rang. "I told you he would be here on time." I laughed to Alisha who calmed down since he got here right at 7:59.

I opened the door to see Niall standing there with a big smile on his face and in his hand were a bouquet of white roses. He was wearing a tux which surprised me; I didn't think he was actually going all out for our first date.

"Thank you for the roses." I smiled pulling him into a hug. He smelled really good. "No problem love. Now we should get going don't you think."

He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers while pulling me out the door. I was quick enough to grab my purse and phone off the table. Off we went.

Hello lovelies ! Hope y'all are excited for the date; I could consider this a boring filler chapter. But it lead up to the date so yay.
