The Marines have branded me as a traitor, but That never phased me. I knew what I was getting myself into when I chose this. furthermore, there was no turning back for me. They never told me what happened to him, so I always kept guessing. Well not anymore, I will find him because he promised he would never leave and Rosinante would never break his promises.

I was sixteen when I decided to travel to that godforsaken island. I had no choice but to bite the hand that once fed me. I had no regrets. I was sailing with the lessons they have taught me. Which to me feels so long ago. I felt so at ease, with the wind soaring through my blonde-gold-like hair and the sound of the waves hitting against the hull I knew deep down this was my choice, my way, no one else telling me what I can and can't do. It was time for me to make my own decisions and that I did. "I'm coming for you Rosinante, and that is a promise I plan to keep."

........................................................................................................................................

Arriving at the Island took me at least four days, I had to make sure no one was following me. I mean, after all, I did take the admiral's ship. "Ahh, I wish I could see the look on Sengoku's face." I laugh quietly to myself. I jumped off the ship to begin my search and rescue. I'll hide the ship with these tree branches and some leaves so they won't suspect someone else is here. I smiled at my amazing idea. Next is to conceal me. I grab my black cloak and carefully tuck the strands of hair in my hood. I put some warm gloves on since I'm on an island that's cold and barren of residents.

Which is perfect because this will make it easier for me to blend in without people trying to talk or distract me. As I'm walking around I notice the houses are falling apart as if a war happened here. I start investigating the area to see if I can find any clues to where Rosinante could be.

Out in the distance, I hear gunfire, I start to sprint in the direction of the sound. The gunfire doesn't happen once it keeps on repeating over and over as if someone is playing a broken record. I was starting to get an uneasy feeling, like something that could change my life even more.

As the gunfire finally stops and disappears like nothing ever happened. I see this enormous house up on a hill with crates and boxes in every direction, I even stepped on some glass that looked like someone deliberately destroyed the stained color windows.

The strange thing was there were black feathers scattered throughout the sky. My hand went to touch the black single feather. Instead, it gently grazes my face. I take a step further up and to my horror I see a tall person facing the cold gentle snow with a smile on their face. I didn't know what I was doing, my mind was going into a frenzy and my body took control.

My eyes start to blur with unshed tears. I fall to my knees and there he was, the person I promised myself I would bring back. He was covered with a black feather coat, he wore a long sleeve shirt with red hearts all around it. He had a red smile drawn over his lips to make an even bigger smile. The unshed tears started coming down my pale face making the cold seep through my very being.

Red specks pushed through his chest. I reach up to his face and gently caress him as he did for me as a child.

I look at his face and say with the tears streaming down, "Rosinante, I am sorry... I came too late." I look down at my shaking hands and clench my fist. He reaches out to touch my clenched fist and smooths it out to make my palms face the snowfall. "Lily? I didn't expect I would ever see you again." I raised my face to see him smile slowly. "Please don't be upset, it's okay, I'm happy you are here that means Law will be alright." He smiles sadly. "Rosi, what are talking about it?  I'm so lost, my mind is spinning with questions but I can't bring my heart to ask." I weep while holding his hand.
