Chapter 11

Alexandra POV

I drove my motorcycle behind the swarm of cops following Brian and Dad watching as Roman and Han took out the cops. I continued listening to the radio. I was back-up. It was kind of a boring job considering it depended on something going wrong which was unlikely because of how well planned this job was planned out. We neared the rode where Han and Roman would split from the group we were in.

"Thanks, guys," Dad said through my earpiece.

"Any time" Han replied.

"I'll see you on the other side," Roman said as they both left the group.

"You guys just carved out a 10-second window make it count!" aunt Mia ordered. We all speed trying to gain more time.

We passed the garbage truck and I slowed down to so it wouldn't look like I was following them. While they continued on the bridge. The sirens continued to get louder till the cops followed by Reyes passed me.

"No! There's too many of them" I heard Brian say "Hey there's too many of them. We're not going to make it.".

"You're right, we aren't. You are" Dad said.

"What are you talking about?" Brian asked.

"Just let the vault go. Get out of there" aunt Mia pleaded.

"You're a father now, Brian" Dad replied.

"No, I'm not leaving you. Now you stick with the plan!" Brian yelled.

"It was always the plan. Take care of Alex and Mia" Dad continued.

"Dad, don't do this" I begged.

"Dom, you listen to me now. Okay? You cut loose right now" aunt Mia commanded.

I heard Brian yell and I immediately raced to catch up. In the distance, I saw my dad spin around to face the cops. He revved up his engine and started to head towards them taking out a bunch of police cars.

Out of nowhere the vault flipped around and hit one of Reyes cars knocking it into the water below. The vault landed on the edge of the bridge. With dad's car landing on Reyes's other car. Just as I was pulling up I saw Reyes goon climb out of the car to shoot dad but before he could Brian climbed out of his car and shot him. I pulled up next to them and got off my bike

"I thought I told you to go on," dad said to Brian.

"Yeah, I had to make a call" Brian responded as Hobbs and Elena pulled up in front of us. They both got out as Reyes fell out of his car.

Before Reyes could finish begging for help Hobbs shot him and walked toward us.

"It a hell of a mess," Hobbs said.

"Yeah, it is" Brian responded.

"You know I can't let you three go" Hobbs continued "I ain't made that way. The way I see it you've earned yourselves 24 hours. The money stays though. If I were you I'd use the time. Make peace with whatever demons you got left. Because come tomorrow, I will find you" Hobbs finished. Brian and my Dad went to the car.

"Toretto! I'll see you soon" Hobbs says.

"No, you won't" Dad finishes while I drive away on my motorcycle with them following behind me.

I sat at the base while Tej cracked the vault.

"Come on baby. Don't be mean. Come on" Tej said.as he put the film with Reyes handprint on it up to the scanner. The vault unlocked and as he pulled the door back money fell and covered the floor.

I sat on the patio when Dad and Elena pulled up aunt Mia and Brian came back from their walk on the beach and after hugging each other Elena Aunt Mia, and I headed down to sit on the beach.

We have been in the Canary Islands for about a week. At dinner that night I sat at the table with Dad. Elena had gone out somewhere.

"What is wrong?" Dad asked out of nowhere.

"Nothing, I am fine," I said as I continued to eat.

"You are unusually quiet," he said.

I sighed "I miss home ok?" I said.

"You know we can't go back to L.A." aunt Mia said.

"No, London" I replied "This just doesn't feel right"

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"It just feels like you are trying to replace mom. Elena is nice and all but I don't want to be here" I responded.

"If you don't like Elena that much. I will call things off" he started.

"No, I just miss people in London. I just don't want to be here" I finished.

"If you want to go that bad. I guess it is fine. You better come visit though" He said

"I will" I finished.

After we finished dinner I went and got packed and the next morning I was on a flight to London.

Timeskip

My flight had just landed and I was on my way to the garage. When I arrived I saw that Violet wasn't at the front desk so I headed to the door that led you to the back. When you walk through the door it leads you to a balcony that you can see the whole shop ahead of you. A set of stairs is right in front of you to take you down to the ground and to the left is a path that takes you to Rachel's office. I hadn't realized how much I missed this place until I was looking at it. Violet sat on a chair watching Alyssa paint a car. Cam and Megan were working on an old engine and Ivy ate a sandwich while telling Megan she was doing something wrong. Rachel wasn't there so I figured she was in her office. No one had seen me yet so I put my bags on the floor of the balcony and leaned on the railing.

" I hate to say it but the customer service here kind of sucks," I said smiling. All of their heads shot up and looked at me.

"Your back," Violet said relieved.

"You have a lot of stuff to tell us," Cam said.

"That I do" I replied.

"You should probably get started then," Rachel said behind me.

I walked down the stairs and after getting hugs from everyone I walked over to the Charger I fixed on my first day of work with them following behind me I put my bags next to it. When I stood up and turned around the were all sitting on different toolboxes, chairs, or the hoods of cars.

"Eager are we?" I asked. As I began to fill them in on everything that happened.
