"Dumbledore sent me to parley with the Giants." Hagrid said.

"Giants?" Hermione asked, astonished.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Cassandra were sitting in Hagrid's cabin, listening to what he had to tell them.

"Shh!" Hagrid said.

"You found them?" Cassandra asked.

"Well, they're not so hard to find to be perfectly honest, they're so big see." Hagrid said. "I tried to convince him to join the cause, but I wasn't the only one trying to win them over."

"Death eaters." Ron said.

"Yes." Hagrid answered. "Trying to persuade them to join you know who."

"Did they?" Harry asked.

"I gave them Dumbledore's message. I suppose some of them remember he was friendly to them, I suppose."

"And they did this to you?" Harry asked.

"Not exactly, no." Hagrid replied. "It's changing out there. Just like last time. There's a storm coming, we'd all best be ready when she does."

~~

Ever since Christmas break, Draco had been acting distant towards Cassandra. She figured that he probably realized he actually doesn't care for her. She thought it might be for the best. They're both on opposite sides of this war. He couldn't be seen consorting with her and vice versa.

Cassandra sat in the Room of Requirement, ready for Dumbledore's Army to assemble. She was just thinking quietly to herself when the door opened. People started filing into the room.

"Make it a powerful memory." Harry said. "The happiest you can remember. Allow it to fill you up. Keep trying Seamus!"

It was good to be back on good terms with Seamus. He was a kind man after all.

"George, your turn now!" Cassandra exclaimed.

She loved watching George and Fred cast spells.

"Expecto patronum!" George said, swishing his wand.

Cassandra smiled and leaned into Fred's hug.

"A full bodied Patronus is the most difficult to perform but shield forms could also be equally useful against a variety of opponents." Cassandra said.

Ginny cast her Patronus - a horse.

"Well done Ginny!" Harry praised. "Just remember, your Patronus can only protect you for as long as you stay focused. So focus, Luna."

Neville was having troubles.

"Think of the happiest thing you can." Harry told Neville.

"Expecto patronum." Neville said. "I'm trying Harry."

"I know, it's good." Harry replied.

"This is really advanced stuff everyone. You are all doing so well!" Cassandra said.

Cassandra knew her Patronus was a dragon and she didn't know if there was someone out there who matched hers.

Cassandra walked into her dorm and was instantly met with a nearly naked Draco Malfoy.

"Oh my goodness!" Cassandra exclaimed. "I'll be back, I'm sorry."

"Wait no, it's okay, you can stay." Draco said. "I don't mind unless you do."

"My apologies." Cassandra said, looking down at her feet.

"No, I'm sorry." Draco said. "Let me just get some pants on and then you'll be fine to look."

Draco put his pants on and Cassandra looked back up at him. She blushed when she realized that he was shirtless.

"Where have you been?" Draco asked.

"Everywhere and nowhere at the same time." Cassandra answered.

She had visited Jack Dawson's office and had visited Snape for her Occlumency lesson.

"Cassandra?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think you're going to win this war?"

"I hope so, why?"

"Just wondering."

"I have to meet up with Fred, I'll see you later."

"Fred Weasley?" Draco wondered, a tang of jealousy hitting him in the heart.

"Yes. Is there something wrong with that?" Cassandra asked.

"No." Draco replied. "Have fun."

Cassandra left and went into the common room. Fred was waiting there for her. He wanted her opinion on their ideas for their joke shop.

"After this year, we're going to open up our joke shop." Fred explained. "We want to call it 'Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes'. We're going to have an apartment above the shop just in case of late nights. You're welcome to stay with us anytime you want. Maybe even a little bit in the summer."

"That would be wonderful, Fred." Cassandra said. "We should celebrate!"

"May I offer you a dance, Miss Potter?" Fred asked.

"Oh I would love a dance." Cassandra smiled.

Fred picked up Cassandra and ran down the hallway with her. He ran to the Room of Requirement. Its shape shifted into a nice big ballroom.

Fred put his hand on Cassandra's waist. He spun her around. Cassandra was laughing. She was genuinely having fun and enjoying Fred's company. Little to her knowledge, Fred would be falling in love with her.
