Spooky Scary Skeletons

                        The day before Halloween was miserably hot and humid, everyone had their air conditioning up to full blast. Nearby was one of the nuclear power plants, with chemical waste leaking out creating its own toxic lake. The heat created extra precipitation in the area, making the clouds suck up the chemical waste. By the next day, Halloween, the clouds were about to burst, all the children were so excited for trick-or-treating they weren't going to let a little rain ruin their plans. All the parents grabbed their umbrellas and their kids to head out on the search for candy. The rain started to pour around 5pm, so when the trick-or-treaters started to arrive around 6pm everyone was prepared for the weather.  After it had been raining for about 2 hours it was so heavy the rain started to seep into the ground. No one had known that the rain was mixed with chemical waste. Once the rain had seeped into the graveyard ground the skeletons began to come alive. They began to rise from their graves and head into town in search of the citizens. You could hear their bones clinging, clanging, and scraping as they walked, some limped, towards the town. As they arrived upon the town citizens started to scream and run in all directions. People started to rush for doors, it didn't matter if it was their house or not, others were opening their houses for anyone that could run in fast enough. The Skeletons were trying anything they could to get into the citizens houses. People were locking their doors and closing their windows. Anyone the skeletons grabbed were dragged down to the graveyard. When the skeletons grabbed everyone they were all cowering in the corner of the graveyard, whispering about what the skeletons were going to do to them. They stood there for 20 minutes and once the skeletons were done, they discovered that all the skeletons wanted to do was throw a Halloween party.
