Clem's pov
Clem's diary
It's been about a month Violet came here and we've become fast friends despite her social awkwardness.

Its kinda weird but I think I have some sorta crush on her. It's just that when I'm with her I feel, right? Yeah. I think that's the word. I think Louis has noticed though, he's constantly teasing me and points out when I'm blushing.

I know it's been a while since I've been with anyone but, I think I might

"Hey Clem!" I flip my diary closed and shove it In my wardrobe and pretend I was deciding what to wear.

"Hey Goofball" I look at the small child and wonder why he didn't knock like he usually does. "What's up? And why didnt you knock?"

"Louis said it'd be funny" He answered quickly as he looked at how nervous I was. "What were you doing?"

"Just. I don't know. Thinking, I guess." I answer trying not to give anything away. "Anyway, why are you dodging that question?" I ask worryingly.

Suddenly the door opens more and i see my crush peek her head into my room. I blush at the sight of her and try to look away to hide my cheeks.

"Louis said it's game night Clem." I blush even more when I hear her voice. "Okay. We'll be down in a minute." I manage to choke out if my throat.

She leaves and I let out a sigh. "You like her don't you?" AJ asks. I just freeze and stare at the boy. "I. Umm. Well, she's a great friend yeah." I try to hide my still growing blush but I know it didn't work.

"You know I didn't mean that Clem. You like like her." AJ states and once again I stare at him. "Don't tell anyone." He opens his mouth. "Not even Tenn. Okay?" He pauses for a second but relaxes. "Fine. But what about Louis?"

I stare at the boy as if he just said something stupid. "I won't say anything." I hold out my hand. "Pinky promise?" I ask as he takes my hand and locks our pinkies together.

I let out a sigh of relief as we head downstairs.

"What are we doing then Lou?" Marlon asks as I enter the kitchen, it's not comfy but it is the only room with a table big enough for all of us.

"We, my friend, are playing truth or dare" He says in his usual over-dramatic voice as he pulls out a deck of cards.

"You're obsessed with those things" I say as I sit down between AJ and Violet.

"How do we play with cards then?" Violet asks. "Highest card asks, lowest answers" Louis states as he shuffles the deck and hands us each a card.

I got lowest and Violet got highest. Oh shit.

"So. Clem, how come you and AJ are so close?" I thank God that she chose that question even if I did hate it just as much.

"Well. It's pretty depressing but we were both in the care of this couple. And we thought we were happy but one night they just changed their minds and decided they didn't want us anymore and we had to live on the streets together. Until Lee found us and we got here."

"Oh. Okay, umm. Thought it'd be a bit more sentimental but that's sweet I guess." Violet speaks up. But i could tell she wasn't saying something.

We all drew cards again and Lou won and Violet lost.

"Anyone you like here violet?" Louis asks. "Like? As in?" Violet asks him to elaborate.

"Like like" Louis says with a grin. "Oh my god what are you, six?" I say mockingly.
"Seven. Thank you" He replies quickly. We all look over to violet waiting for an answer.

"I. Ah. I think so yeah." She says confidently. My heart jumps as she says this. Just knowing that there's even just a chance she likes me back makes me smile uncontrollably.

"Ah. Clem? You good?" Violet asks as I stop myself looking like a maniac. A little late. "Yeah I'm good. Actually I'm great."

We carry on with the game and we learn different stuff about each other. A few dares were exchanged, but they were boring with the younger kids here.

After a while of this we go on out on way and I feel a ball hit my back as I walk around the halls.  I pick it up and read it.
