Once they entered the library the fist thing that they noticed wasn't the abundant scrolls filled with the history of Las Noches, it was that it was clean, so clean that not even a speck of dust was in sight. "Wow" was the only response Rangiku could muster until someone came out from behind the shelves and in shock the person slipped on a fallen scroll and fell flat on the floor. "Ow" the person said sitting up and rubbing the back of it's head. "Sorry for surprising you" Rangiku said apologetically. "No it's fine it's just that I don't usually see a lot of people down here" the person said. "Names Rangiku Matsumoto and the guy behind me is Prince Toshiro Hitsugaya" she said while holding out a hand. "Wait how did you guys get down here" the guy said while panicking, if Hitsugaya would guess he's probably having a heart attack. "Well Grimmjow and Harribel took us down here" Rangiku answered. "Oh ok. So what are you guys trying to find down here" the guy asked before realizing something "Oh sorry for my manners, my name is Hanataro Yamada" as he bowed. "It's fine" Hitsugaya said before continuing "Do you know on where we can find the reign of the previous sultana?" He asked as he looked around the area. "Yes sir but I need a solid reason on why you want to know about her to be able to show you" Hanataro said politely. Hitsugaya then contemplated the consequences if he decided to tell Hanataro, a few seconds then passed he has finally made his decision. He decided that the boy doesn't need to know that he just wanted the name of the girl so he just pulled out the scroll with the handwriting of the dancer and handed it. Hanataro looked at it before walking away and came back after a few minutes holding as much scrolls as much as he can carry before saying "that's batch one, there are a total of probably five in total" before going behind the shelves again. "This will take us forever" Matsumoto whined but still picked up a bunch of scrolls and read through them. A few hours came before someone spoke. "Let's make this easy shall we? But in order to do that I need to know what you want to hear" a male voice spoke, it's not angry or happy either but the way it spoke is very exaggerated. Both Hitsugaya and Matsumoto looked away from the current scrolls they're reading to see a slim man with pink hair patting the head of Hanataro. Rangiku then spoke the words that can spark a war, "Are you gay?". Hitsugaya then looked at her with a hint of fear for he does not, I repeat does not want the cause of the war written in history to be a question of 'are you gay'. "That's up to you to decide darling" the man said while flipping his hair to the side. "Names Szayel Aporro Granz, pleasure to meet you" he said bowing an exact 90°. Hitsugaya only nodded. "Can you tell us the reign of the previous sultana?" Matsumoto asked. "Of course, it is an honor to tell you the extravagant city we used to be when she ruled" he said. And the very long story started. Both of them yawned on how long it was before Rangiku leaned towards Hitsugaya mumbling "I would like to believe that the entire story would only take an hour max without all of the exaggerated words" Hitsugaya for the first time couldn't agree with her more. "And that's the end of her spectacular rule" he said with more shine in his eyes before they saw Hanataro sleeping soundly causing Szayel to throw the closest scrolls at hand at him. "Can't you just give a summary I was already yawning a mile away" a not new incommer said. "Hm you have a simpler way of saying all that" Szayel says as he flipped his hair and fixed his glasses. "All that time wasted and I still don't know what she is saying about the 'truth' she wanted us to know" Matsumoto loudly whined. A long loud sigh was heard while it echoed in the room "This is the most simplest way I can say it. Aizen was able to take over the throne by helding her sister and mother hostage, she then got mad and planned a rescue mission. In the end her mother was killed, I don't know if it was on purpose or was an accident though. But that resulted in a war between them that involved the citizens but the ones on his side didn't know that his kindness was just an act. She ended up losing the throne and one of her friends hence the painting outside. We were still on her side after the war but she said that she'll take it back but she needs us to be insiders. He is planning to take over the 13 court guard squads. That's why we need a prodigy child to help us earn the trust of the other capitals and allow them to stop him. And that's it" Grimmjow said taking a deep breath after. Both Hitsugaya and Matsumoto were surprised after hearing it. Without warning Grimmjow's eyes went wild, Szayel's fingers then started twitching almost as if he was ready to choke someone to death. Fear fell upon the two as they watched two people infront of them literally at the door step of insanity. "Run and save your sister. Now!!" Both of them yelled at Hitsugaya making him jump. Hitsugaya and Rangiku then rushed outside of the labyrinth. As they went into the hallway of the palace Hitsugaya can't help but feel restless until he sees his sister. They ran towards the main hall of the pearl white palace, but now knowing the truth they felt uncomfortable and more restless. When they saw Hinamori a wave of relief washed their bodies, only to be filled with hatred and despair. Hitsugaya nearly lost his mind right then and there at what he saw, around Hinamori was blood, her blood, and as he looked at her torso he saw a katana stabbed through her chest, that is also when he noticed on who was holding it, Aizen. The look in her eyes, Matsumoto is not the one being stabbed but she felt like she is after looking into Hinamori's eyes, filled with betrayal and hurt. One word went out of her mouth to drive both Rangiku and Hitsugaya beyond insanity. "Shiro" she said before closing her eyes and fell, lying in a pool of her own blood.
