Chapter 6: Challenges

The red and black dotted hero swooped down to her house. On her balcony. She took a sigh, "Spots off."

"Marinette?" Tikki asked, concerned.

"I...I can't take it anymore Tikki..." She cried. "Adrien, Chat......Akumatized... It's... it's all my fault..." She covered her face, with tears going down from her face.

"Mari it's not just that... you've been not yourself..."

"Tikki, I'm sure it's just the common flu."

"Doesn't seem like it."

Marinette sighed. She went to her room. As she entered there he was the white leathered cat, with glowing purple cat eyes, he glared at her as she came in from the trap door of her balcony. "Where were you?" he said, glances between his sharp claws and looking at her with daggers in his eyes. Then he noticed something. staining her jacket. Blood.

"In my balcony," she said immediately. She sounded so scared, yet she still loved and cared for him, but the way he has been "acting" still scared the crickets out of her.

" I just came from the balcony, just a while ago before you did come out." He said narrowing his eyes at her. Then slowly came to her and pinned her against her wall. Having her wince from her sore arms. "I ask you again? Where. were. you."

The shivering of fear ran down her spine as he growled at her. "Please, Chat." Mari prayed. Telling him to let her go. He moved his head back and forth, saying no.

"Answer the question, Purrrincess." he hissed.

"Chat-" he cut her off with a kiss, he broke, then stared at her, his eyes looking at hers, as she looked down, seemed ashamed. He used his hand, cupping her face, making her look into his eyes. "Chat, please." giving him a look to let her go.

He sighed and released her from his grasp.

She quickly, but quietly went to her bathroom, and shut the door. Locked it. She looked at herself in the mirror, took off her jacket, and grabbed the First AID from her cabinet under her sink.

As she started cleaning up her wounds, Chat de-transfomed exhausted, he let Plagg tired.

A knock came on the bathroom door. "Mari can you please come out I'm sorry..." No response. "Mari can you-"

He saw her bandages, but what he saw the most seeing his girlfriend puking her guts out.

"I'm fine... don't worry about me... probably just a common flu..."

"Mari, this has been going on for months still. I don't think this is so common flu..."

She washed her face, and went to lay flat on the couch. Chat or right now Adrien came to her and hugged her. As he hugged her he felt something... Something moving...?
