The cab turned in a narrow alley, a shady man was sitting at the corner of the street, eyeing as we drove past him. I assumed the road would lead up to maybe a posh locality but was surprised when the driver hit brakes in front of a shabby old building. I double checked the location. It was accurate.

Sighing, I paid the driver and got off. The creepy guy was still staring at me; I adjusted my mask and sunglasses, hoping he didn't recognize me.

Taehyung: Consider yourself lucky! I don't usually allow anyone in my studio.

Me: Whatever. I'm outside your building. Tell me where to come already. 😑

Taehyung: Fine.😒 Top floor. Last door through the corridor.
Door is open. Don't knock.

My body was fidgeting with an inexplicable anticipation as I strode along the hallway towards his door.

"Wow, this is not what I was expecting." My mouth left agape at the sight in front of me.

"Sorry, it's messy. I didn't think you'd grab it yourself on such short notice."

Messy was an understatement. I grimaced, trying to figure out how to cross the room. He invited me to his studio, which was a small space on top of an old building. The room was full of canvases, art supplies, paint splashes and plastic sheets. Even the floor was covered with a sheet and a large blank canvas was placed on top of it.

There was no space to sit or put my foot on, so I stayed near the door.

He was dressed in paint stained baggy pants and a black T-shirt, topped off with a reversed cap. From what I could see of his hair, the radiant blue had worn off to a mint green.

"It's fine. I'm sorry for interrupting your work, but promotions will start in a couple of days and I'll not be in town for a month or two."

The media was informed by Jaesung's agency that we broke up, forcing my company to release a statement as well. I was told to take time away from social media.

I asked Sulli if I'm going to get hate on promotions, and her response was to not worry, since this news is bringing so much attention to my new movie. She didn't say if the attention was positive or negative and I didn't ask. Better to live in blissful ignorance than in crippling awareness.

Taehyung sighed at the blank canvas on the floor. "Eh, I wasn't getting much done anyway."

It must be hard, creating such meaningful master pieces from nothing. I was envious of his talent.

"And I can't wait for your movie. The trailer was a-ma-zing. Can you give me spoilers?" He wiggled his eyebrows, grinning sheepishly while washing his hands in the sink that was in the corner of the room. I wonder if he bought this place only for having the convenience of a sink in the main room.

"Depends on what you wanna know?" I tried to smile.

"Well, there is only one question people are asking." He started putting brushes and paint aside to hopefully make space for me to enter.

"Which is..." I gestured for him to go on.

He furrowed his eyebrows, abandoning the bucket he was holding. "You haven't seen it yet?"

I'd rather die.

"No, I haven't." I shook my head.

"That's awesome." His eyes were shining, as his lips formed a rectangle around his lips in an adorable boxy grin. "We can watch it now. I get to see your live reaction."
