Percy's POV

I haven't been at Camp Half-Blood for so long. I haven't seen Annabeth in months. She is always too caught up in graduating college for a degree in architecture. I really miss her, I want to call her so bad but I'm scared I might interrupt her studies.

I'm just in my apartment doing nothing in particular. I went to a college nearby but I don't take it too seriously. The only class I'm actually good at is marine biology. Not really surprising for a son of Poseidon. I also have a part time job as a employee at a nearby aquarium too.

I walk to my kitchen to make cup noodles. After I'm done, I sit on the couch and eat while flipping through channels.

Yea, so my life right now is boring and lonely. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a thousand cats and lived in this apartment for the rest of my life.

I eat my noodles and just chill on my couch. I'm not a really neat person. There are wrappers and clothes lying on the floor around me and the coffee table in front of me is messy with empty dishes and cups. I'm incredibly lazy.

I changed into a blue t-shirt, khakis, and sneakers. I grabbed my keys and headed out. I went in my car and drove .

I went to Café Rue.

"Hey Percy!" A voice called out. I turned to see Kimmy. Shes this nice girl who I usually talk to. Shes in her early twenties. She has long flowing chocolate hair and green sparkling eyes. She works as an employee in this café.

"Hey Kimmy." I said as I headed over to her.

"What would you like to order?" She asked smirking.

"You know what I want."

"Of course I do. One blueberry pomegranate smoothie, large, extra blueberries. Right?"

"Yup. Always extra blueberries." I smiled as she went in to make my smoothie.

I turned around and bumped into a blondie. Her head was down while she wrote in a notebook. Her blond curls were cascaded down her back.

"Sorry." She mumbled as she looked up. Her intelligent gray eyes met mine.

"Annabeth!" I shouted.

"Percy! Where have you been?! You never called and I thought that you didn't need me anymore!" She said with a hurt tone.

"No, Annabeth. I will always need you." I said and she gave me a big smile.

We sat down on a table and began to chat.

"So hows college going for you?" I asked. Its probably going fine for her.

"Great! Everything is perfect. You?" She asked.

"Yea. Its okay. Though I'm acing marine biology." I said.

She laughed. A beautiful laugh that I have been longing to hear for months. I stared at her. At how beautiful she was even when she wasn't trying.

"Heres your smoothie, Percy." Kimmy said as she approached and put the smoothie down on the table. She looked at Annabeth. "Is this the girl you always talk about, Perce? She really is pretty."

I felt heat rush up my cheeks. I told Kimmy about Annabeth. I told her every detail. Her hair, her mouth, her eyes, her nose. I told Kimmy how smart Annabeth was and everything else about Annabeth. I started to sip my smoothie uneasily.

"You talk about me?" Annabeth asked while smirking.

"Oh he won't even stop." Kimmy said giggling.

"What does he say?" Annabeth said looking at Kimmy.

"Hmm. Where do I start?" She starts trying to imitate my voice. "Oh Annabeth is beautiful. She has blond princess curls and intelligent gray eyes that you could get lost in. She has perfect features and she can identify you easily just by looking into your eyes. I miss her soooo much. Oh my Annabeth." She said waving her hands dramatically.
