This is probably karma. I mean, if it's not karma I wouldn't be bumping into him twenty four seven. Get this, I thought I was safe until next week Monday. On Friday morning I realised that it was Louis who stole my seat. I didn't do say anything, as I had already agreed that ignoring him was the best option for both of us. It got worse from there. At lunch I went to the stadium alcove and saw Louis reading a frickin book.

"Are you stalking me?" I asked irritated now.

"Why would I be stalking you, you came to me. So I have to ask, why are you stalking me Ava Greenway." I rolled my eyes and realised that I was still hovering, so I sat down.

"This is my space. No one would want to sit underneath stadium benches, why would you want to sit underneath a shadow?" He sighed and closed his book.

"I could ask you the same question."

"I asked first,"

"I can hide from people here. It's peaceful. And it's quiet. There you go now you answer." I gulped,

"The exact same reason." Another question popped into my mind.

"Why?" We both asked at the same time. I laughed awkwardly beside him. He smiled and my heart stopped. It was the first time he had smiled in front of my and his jaw line was even more defined than it was before.

That was when Carly walked into the alcove.

"Hey Ava, whoah!" She stared at Louis and her mouth dropped open. Huh, I wonder if my initial reaction was like that in the Chestnut Tree Café. I shuddered not wanting to know the answer. "Um, I'm going to give you two some privacy." She said as she winked at me.

"Carly! Wait! Louis found here first so I can't kick him out. But this was my place before his so I'm not leaving either." Carly raised an eyebrow at me. Louis was smiling playfully the whole time.

"Well, I hope you enjoy company Ava Greenway. Nice to meet you Carly, I'm Louis." He said as he nodded to her. Carly was still gaping as she sat next to him, a bit too close, might I add.

"So, how did you two meet?" She asked as if we were some couple.

"Louis is my drama partner for the year. So unfortunately I'm stuck with him." I frowned at him and he smiled.

"You just love me don't you. No, I'm serious, do you have a problem with me." Yes. I had a problem with him. He was too beautiful to exist in this world where I wasn't supposed to swoon over eighteen year old immature boys.

"You know what. I give up. I'm leaving. I'll leave you with Carly." I stand up and leave, at the corner of my eye I saw Carly mouth thank you to me, even though I had no intentions to help her.

That Saturday I was eating dinner with my mum at the café.

"Do you believe that you should keep promises mum?" I asked as I was fiddling with the pasta on my plate.

"Of course. Well..."

"Well?" She sighed.

"It depends on the promise really." I nodded.
