"Ajay" I turned as I heard someone calling me from behind. There was a short looking girl with aqua blue hair up in a bun walking towards me.
"Hey Allie, what are you doing here I thought you had work today." I asked in surprise.
"Ah you know me always wondering everywhere, but if you have to know I finished early," she explained annoyed that I wasn't as happy to see her as she expected. "Jeez I didn't know I had to tell everyone in the world I wanted to see my best friend," jokingly laughing at me. I let lose I hadn't seen her in a while and I was happy I could talk to her in person today. But I hate the fact that I have to keep secrets from her.
"Let's go to my place we can catch up on things there
The way back was quiet but I didn't mind me being the introvert I am. when we got back I took if my jacket and she hoped on the couch, she motioned be to sit next to she when she saw me looking at her. I had aways admired her in a way as wanting to be more than friends. But I honestly doubt she feels the same way, I walked over to the couch and sat where she was patting as she moved her hand away so I wouldn't sit on it.
"So how's it been here," she asked me after a short awkward while of silence.
"Pretty good, seeing as there isn't alot that happeneds around here it's pretty quiet and peaceful. I kinda like it" I answered then continued to respond with the same question but only back to her. We talked about the things that's happened since we separated back in college. It's been quite awhile since we last spoken in person now that I think about it.
"How long are you staying for," I asked breaking the silence that had overcome the room.
"Bout a month or so, I mostly came for a vacation seeing as there's so much happening at home, I don't really want to be in the middle of all of it." She said I'm guessing she didn't have a place to stay in gaundela so I offered that she could stay with me. At first she refused cause she didn't want to be a bother and there wasn't an extra room she could sleep in. But I convinced her that I don't really mind having some company and she could sleep in with me in my room like we did in highschool when we had sleepovers. We both burst out laughing as we remembered the stupid things we talked about when I mentioned it. It was nice laughing like this again with her I hadn't realized how much I missed this. It's been so long
