The pain. That's all Ayra felt. The gentle calm breeze that set her hair flying was no help either. Just a day ago when there was a report from the corner house on Winter Road, and that was when the police discovered the body.
The dead body of Grace Colles.
Ayra knew the crashing feeling as denial swept her, as the pain became unbearable when she looked at the floor, where her older sister laid.
At school, the exact next day, rumors started and it became worst by the afternoon. Ayra was accused of being the killer, being the little girl who was innocent until she stabbed her only sister in her heart. Grace was the innocent one, the one who never saw it coming.
But truth is, Ayra never would touch a knife in her sister's presence for it was so sharp and too deadly. The girl who everyone thought was a murderer was simply now a broken girl who was at the wrong time, at the wrong place.
The reason why Grace died, was because she fell in love. At 14, Ayra knew her two year boyfriend, Keen. He was nice at the least, never tried to make any bad moves, but that was until he cheated on Grace.
Grace was so heartbroken she turned to the bottle. She thought 'what the hell, I was already broken why not make it go away for a couple of hours'. She drank a glass, then another then another, until she could slowly remember nothing.
When she came home, she stumbled to bed. Her sister followed her up and asked 'What's wrong?' Grace simply waved her hand, and said she was tired. Her sister unconvinced stayed by her side, until she was done with her shower and in her pj's.
At a minute till midnight, Grace woke up. She saw her sister sleeping on the chair at her desk, and she smiled. Slowly she tiptoed, to her and kissed her on the head. Quickly she hurried to the bathroom, and locked herself in.
She prepared herself for a nice bath. She seeped into the warm water, how just for a minute everything was perfect. Her boyfriend instead of cheating was on one knee holding a signature red box in one hand and a grin on his handsome face. Her little sister becoming a bridesmaid at the event to be taken place, and finally her parents who were alive and welcomed Keen into the family, hugs only.
For that time everything was perfect and Grace wanted that. She closed her eyes as she went down under, thinking and dreaming about the perfect life, the perfect future. And then nothing.

The casket was red, Grace's favorite color and a gentle handful of white rose petals were sprinkled on top. Of course, the only people who attented the furneral was Aunt Marie and her family, plus some true friends of Grace and herself.
It happened to proceed on a Monday, Grace's favorite day of the week. Odd indeed but everyone loved Grace for that, for she was like a angel to many people. Ayra recieved many sympathethic and mournful looks but she ignored them. She stayed in the back, through the ceromony. Afterwards, there was an after dinner, which her Aunt insisted she go to.
"Dear, you have been standing there for a while now?" Aunt Marie points out. Her hand is gently placed on her shoulders, "Would you accompany us at Marold's?"
Ayra shakes her head, despite the fact that it was her favorite resturant. One that she would go to everytime she got an A on a exam, she would go with her sister, and she paid as a treat. She sighed, as the now white rose petals blew off the casket, a similar scene that happed to the turtle in Kung Fu Panda.
"Dear, it's unhealthy for you to stay here all night. I know your hurting but standing there all night is not the solution," Aunt Marie speaks softly. She heard every word, but she did not respond.
"Ayra, I will come get you in a few minutes. You need to eat. The ceremony was done a couple of hours ago and you have beeen standing there the entire time. Just, just try to find something happy to think about, until tomorrow. Then you can officially sleep next to her," Aunt Marie tries to say, leading out a strained smile. The corners her mouth tried to smile but failed.
Everyone was sad that Grace wasn't here anymore but she knew they wanted to move on to some of the happy times. The Happier memories, Happier momments.
Ayra sighed, fisting a promise against the red, shiny case.
She placed a neckalace on top of the casket, and fingered her own twin neckalace.
This is Not Good Bye...
