The Mistake

Chapter 3

(A/N:
SORRY TO BE WRITING IN THE BEGINNING TO THE STORY JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT ODETTE YUSTMAN IS WHO I PICTURE AUBREY LOOKING LIKE! SRRY ENJOY THE STORY!!)

Zayn POV:

"Ok bye Zayn!" She says in her vibrant voice
As I hang up I can't help it wonder 'oh my god I can't believe I'm going on a 'date' with Violet tomorrow!'
When I walk in my dorm room I find Harry texting someone.
"Hey mate, who you texting?" I ask
"Oh just Aubrey, I was just saying goodnight to her, that's all." he explains
"Well ok mate imma going to take a shower, if someone calls put it on speaker and bring it into the bathroom for me would ya." I ask
"Sure" he replies

As I got in the shower I remember her smile her very very very beautiful smile. Out of all the girls I have met, none of them are like her. Tonight she made me happy somehow, she enlightened my spirt and my soul! When I get out of the shower I dry myself off and put on a pair of sweat pants and swear shirt that said CORNELL on it. as I lay down in bed all I could do was think about her. She was always on my mind, it was constant. As I think of her more I feel something. I looked down and covered myself with a blanket due to the fact that I got a boner while thinking of her! What was I doing. Harry looked over and saw. "Mate chill out and stop it." he said "Sorry I was thinking of something." I replied
"Like what, getting into that girl Violets pants?!?" He stated in a mocking tone
I threw a pillow at him and spat "shut up!"
Night fell and we both drifted into a deep sleep.

Violet POV:
My alarm clock woke me up about 10:30 in the morning. I was glad that I don't have classes on Sunday, that's my day to relax and study, which apparently I am doing today at 1:30 in the afternoon. I was happy that I had this "study date" with Zayn today. I got up to see that Aubrey's bed was empty. Had she gotten up earlier and went into the sitting room? I got up out of bed went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, washed my face and other stuff. I walked out of the bathroom and into the sitting room to find a note placed on the glass table. It said "hey went to the gym will be back at 11:00" ~Aubrey~
I strode into the kitchen making myself a perfect strawberry-banana smoothie for breakfast. The clock read 10:50. I began to become bored. So my solution was to get my books and study like I always do when I'm bored. My heart skipped a beat when I herd my phone buzz and realize it was Zayn. He texted me saying "morning sunshine;)!!" I'm shocked by the nick name he has given me already. I text back saying "top of the morning to you also;)!!" My phone rings again-
"We still on for today?"
"Yea we are... 1:30 right?"
"Yep @ Panera!"
"Ok see you then!"

It was 1:00 and I was ready for my "study date". I picked out a nice purple lace crop top, black tights and a black pair of flats with a flower at the tip. Aubrey was so proud of me for doing something that meant being with a guy. Actually I was proud of myself also, for going out with somebody I just met and just studying. I grabbed my books and was out of the door by 1:15 and made a good 1 mile drive to Panera. I arrive right on time at 1:30 as planned. That's me always being on time. I meet up with Zayn outside and we get ready to order our food.He wears a simple black t-shirt, black skinny jeans and a leather jacket. I swear you can smell him from miles away. He smells so good! I order a panini sandwich with provolone cheese, bacon and mushrooms! Yummy!! He orders a grilled chicken panini with mozzarella cheese, basil and fresh tomatoes. We get our food and grab our books.
" So what are you majoring in?" he asks
"Um... I want to become a vet technician first and then get my degree to become a real veterinarian. What about you?" I ask
"Same as you believe it or not!" He replies
"Really... wow small world!" I said shocked
I found myself in a moment of awkward silence. then he started the conversation up again.
"So tell me your story sunshine?!?" I can't stand it, there's that lovely nick name he gave me.
"My story is well...um...sort of disturbing. When I was little I lived in Maryland, with my mom my dad and my sister Anna. we had 2 cats and 1 dog and we lived in a beach house. when I turned 11 my parents got divorced and my mom, Anna and I moved to New York. Anna however got a job opportunity for clothing design in California. Sooner or later my mom found a new boyfriend who soon became our stepfather. Things were going good in the beginning, but after that he came home ever night drunker than a Scotsman on a cold night!" I shiver from the memory "I just don't think I want to talk about it right now since I just met you, brings back to many memories!" I say  
"That bad huh?" he asks with concern 
"Yep, I don't want to sound rude but I just don't fell comfortable talking about it!" I admit "the only person that knows is Aubrey."I say with my head down 
"No it's my fault for asking, I respect you not telling me." he replies
"We didn't really get any studying done did we?" I ask
"Nope none atoll!" He says in his lovely British accent
"Wow it's almost 3:00 already, I better get home and get some real studying done for tomorrow." I state
"Yea me too! It was lovely to see you again Violet!" He says
"Just so you know, you can call me V if you want?" I imply
"No I like calling you Violet!" He smiles
"Ok bye Zayn see you tomorrow in class!" I say
"You too!" He calls back

I get in my dorm change into PJ'S and get a little studying done. It was soon 9:00pm and I noticed Aubrey wasn't home.As soon as I was about to crash on the couch my phone rang.
"Hello?" I say
"V, I need help can you pick me up?" A quiet voice slurs.......

Omg this took me forever to write but I'm done with the chapter so that's a good thing! What do u think about violets past? And who do u think that person on the phone is??? Mhhhh... Don't forget to comment and vote!!
