★--------"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE ALREADY GOING BACK." Her mother said over her shoulders, Stephanie was at the train station saying goodbye to her parents. It was always hard for Stephanie to say goodbye to her parents, it never has gotten easy since her first year.
Her mother pulled away and put her hands on the sides of her face, "I love you my dear." Her mother murmured holding her close to her chest before placing a small kiss on the top of her head.
Her mother slowly let her go, making Stephanie look up to her father, her father looked at her with a small smile before bringing her into a big tight hug also peppering kissed on her forehead.
"I'll miss you my pumpkin." He brought her close again, signalling her mother behind her to join the hug. They all pulled away once they heard the loud huff from the train, Stephanie sighs as she looks at her parents who held a sad smile on their face.
"I guess it's time, my love." Her father frowns as he passes her stuff, she takes the cart before pulling them into a hug again.
"I'll see you guys soon, I love you guys." She squeezes them before waving goodbye and running to the train's entrance. She looked behind her for one last look at her parents, her father had an arm around her mother's waist as they waved to her. Stephanie smiled again before waving back as she entered the train.
Stephanie walks down the aisle trying to find their compartment, she looks into the different compartment trying to find the one with her friends. She wasn't paying attention when a first year started running towards her before the boy and she could collide. She felt an arm on her waist and pulled her towards them, she turned her head and was met with hazel eyes. They stood in that spot before hearing the first year boy profusely say sorry, Stephanie would've snapped at the boy but she just waved him off making the small boy run off.
"You should be more careful, Rose." James whispered into her ear making her hair on the back of her neck to stand, she felt her face heat up but she quickly glared at the boy.
"Snogg off, Potter."Stephanie crossed her arm at the boy, he leaned on the window with a little smirk. She was between his legs making them so close, they were so close that Stephanie could see how his eyes were more greener when looking in closer, Stephanie cleared her throat before making the space between them now bigger.
"We should go to the compartment before more mindless first years come running again." She said turning on her heel and walking to the long aisle, she could hear James chuckle before following close behind her.
Stephanie could easily see how much he had grown, he was alway a tall but you could tell that he grew more over the years. Stephanie barely grew she stood 5'4, she liked her height not too tall but not too short.
James and her sent letters to each other over the summer, it was one of the things that they both looked forward to. They talked about how their summer went as they walked down the aisle, James talked about how him and Sirius raced on their broomsticks. He bragged about how he easily won against making Stephanie roll her eyes as they finally made it to their compartment.
When she entered she saw her four friends all talking, Lily, Sirius, Remus and Peter were all laughing as they all turned to Stephanie and James. Lily was the first one to jump up and hug her brunette friend, Stephanie hugged her tight as they both whispered a miss you. Once they pulled away Lily looked behind her and went stiff, Stephanie turned behind her and saw James smiling at her ginger friend.
"Potter."
"Evans." He smiled, making Lily slowly nod before quickly sitting back with a flushed face. Stephanie gulped as she looked between her friend and James, she could feel her heart drop but she ignored the feeling and turned to her werewolf friend.
"Remus!" Stephanie jumped into her arms, Remus laughed as he held her tightly. Stephanie and Remus got closer during the summer, Remus would send letters to Stephanie whenever he needed someone to talk to her. Stephanie pulled away and kissed his cheeks, making the boy's face heat up, Stephanie chuckled at the boy's reaction as he sat back down.
"Do I get a kiss too?" She heard a voice behind her, she laughed as she shook her head and turned around to face the boy's grey eyes. He stood with his arms open as she ran to give him a big hug, he held her tight as he swayed them back and forth.
"I missed you, Rose." He whispered in her hair.
"I missed you too, Black." She smiled as she pulled back, he tapped his cheek making Stephanie playfully roll her eyes before placing a soft kiss making the boy smile brightly. She laughed before looking behind him to look at the shorter boy, Peter and Stephanie had letters back and forth.
They definitely got closer over the summer, Stephanie walks to him and pulls him into making everyone even Peter surprised, Peter was hestianted before hugging her back. Stephanie gave the boy a small kiss on the cheek also, when she did he touched the spot she kissed as he froze in his spot. His cheeks glowing red, Stephanie ruffles his hair before sitting next to Remus.
Remus sat between her and James as Lily,Sirius and Peter sat in front of them. Stephanie got the spot next to the window which made her feel relaxed knowing that sometimes that the train ride makes her feel nauseated. They all caught up and talked about different things they did during their summer, Stephanie slowly started getting quieter as she felt the headache start coming back.
