Pirate's Birthday

Happy 34th Birthday, Priscilla!

The date was October 10th, 2020. Let's see what's going on at the de la Cruz residence. The matriarch of the family, Priscilla [Pirate] was feeding her 2 kids Howard and Dorothy.

Holiday: Happy birthday, Priscilla.

Pirate: Thanks, dear.

Holiday: Did you hear that, kids? Mommy's birthday is today.

The kids clapped happily.

Holiday: Also, there's a message on your computer. I think someone wants to talk to you.

Pirate: Who?

Holiday: I believe it's somebody called Ciel DuBlois.

Pirate: Oh, he's the savior. He's trying to reach out to every module during the pandemic.

Holiday: Well, that's nice of him.

Priscilla finished with her breakfast and went to the computer.

Ciel: Hi, Mrs. de la Cruz.

Pirate: Hello, Ciel. Why did you want to talk to me?

Ciel: Because it's your birthday today, isn't it?

Pirate: As a matter of fact, it is.

Ciel: I hope I wasn't interrupting anything.

Holiday: Not at all. We were just eating breakfast with our children.

Ciel: Oh, hello Mr. de la Cruz. How many kids do you have currently?

Pirate: We have 2.

Ciel: What are their names?

Holiday: Howard is our little boy, and Dorothy is our baby girl.

Ciel: Nice names.

Pirate: I know. I named them after my parents.

Ciel: Where are they at?

Pirate: They're no longer around.

Ciel: I'm sorry to hear that.

Pirate: That's okay. It was a long time ago. I still miss them.

Ciel: I may be rude to ask you this, but...how did your parents die?

Pirate: My mother died from an illness. And my father died in a shipwreck.

Ciel: Oh man. My sister also died from an illness. So, I know how that feels.

Pirate: But like I said, it was a long time ago.

Ciel: You should tell me more about your parents sometime.

Pirate: Well, it's a topic I don't like talking about to anyone, except for my husband. However...I feel like I can trust you, since you're just a kid.

Ciel: I want to know more about every module here.

Pirate: I know you do.

Ciel: Well, I better get going now. Happy birthday again.

Pirates: Thanks, Ciel.

Ciel signed off from Zoom. And so did Priscilla.
