Before the calamity in the third mellenia Arcansalin was a energy source found in rocks and liquids much the same as gas and oil but it's properties had better and cleaner results. However this material Arcansalin was abundant it was different than the few who ms bodies could produce this magic substance in there own bodies channels threw the bodies motions and mixed with a language that was discovered by trail and error to create spells enchantments and all sorts of magic. These words are called runes and are also building blocks of most people even though it's highly wanted for its destructive abilities but it has endless practical uses. Near the end of the third mellenia giverments started biologically creating and or taking children and breading them to become there war machines to end a war over the lack of Arcansalin in the world.
