Ch 14 Carrot Pie

A/N: Yeah still trying to figure out where to exactly to go from here but thought of this so far. Also I kinda forgot about this story.

Y/N: Now about that date.

Velvet: Right...We did.

Y/N: I prepared. Actually I called my mom.

Velvet: Hmmm.

Y/N: I know I know. It makes me-

Velvet: That's sweet. I liked her you know.

Y/N: Well hopefully yours can say the same thing about me.

Velvet: They'll like you. Sure mom and dad may freak out.

Y/N: That seems like a little bit of reverse discrimination.

Velvet: Well they did imagine me being with a Faunus as well but when they see who you are Y/N.

Y/N: Well we can continue this later because we are running on a clock.

Velvet: Oh yeah! Let's go!

Y/N: Wear this blindfold. I want the spot to be a surprise.

Velvet: (puts on blindfold) Fine but make sure I don't hit anything.

Y/N: It would be a shitty first date if I did.

You both went to the hangar and "borrowed"
a bullhead. One tried to stop you but luckily another knew you were a teacher. Unluckily you knew Ozpin will take the fuel cost off of your paycheck.

Velvet: Are we on a bullhead?

Y/N: Yeah.

Velvet: Can I take the blindfold off?

Y/N: No. Can't risk it.

Velvet: Well okay. I know it will be worth it so I guess I can wait.

Y/N: Good. I suggest you take a rest until then Velv.

Velvet did fall asleep as you flew the bullhead to the location.

Y/N: (thoughts) Hope this goes well. Calling mom was embarrassing. I do not get why she told me we have a family jeweler. That and if I needed to ever get a ring size to borrow one of her rings. A ring? Velvet is probably more of a necklace person. Then there is dad. I feel like he would tell me to get a three karat ring but the ring is carrots so I can make an awful pun.

After an hour or so Y/N finally arrived at the location. It was a cliff with a waterfall.

Y/N: Velvet. Velvet.

Velvet: Wha-What's happening? Can I now take off the blindfold? Are we there?

Y/N: Well we arrived and no. I want you to open your eyes in a certain spot.

Velvet: Okay. A few more minutes can't hurt I guess.

Taking Velvet's hand you walk her up to the edge of the cliff before telling her to take off the blindfold. Though you didn't really think this through as she immediately jumped on you as she was scared.

Velvet: (jumps on your arms) Ahhhhh!!!

Surprised you almost fell off but luckily you managed to keep you balanced with Velvet landing on you as you fell back.

Y/N: Yeah. Probably not a good idea. What do you think?

Velvet: It's beautiful but please never do that to me again. For a second there I was scared.
