《LEVI'S POV》

"I hate them." Levi's voice got muffled in Jay's shoulder, but the anger in his voice was still clearly audible.
"I know." Jay drew circles on Levi's back. "But we can't stay here forever. We should already be grateful we've been able to stay here for as long as we could."

Levi knew he was right, these past 6 weeks has been truly magnificent. "But what if they try to separate us?" He pulled back so he could look at his boyfriend's face.

"You need to be closer to school, my *ss. They know exactly what they're doing."
Jay wrapped both of his arms around Levi's waist, and pulled him back onto his chest. "Let's just enjoy the time we still have together then."

Levi didn't respond, instead he concentrated on the rythm of Jay's heartbeat.
He was happy they got some time alone right now, because even though they were living together they still hadn't been able to be alone that often.

They had both been busy with their jobs, trying to earn some money to support Dave, since suddenly having to provide for 2 growing teenage boys was a pretty big financial obstacle.

Still, Dave had welcomed them with open arms, even trying to refuse taking their money at first. He told them he was happy to be the person he hadn't had when he was in this situation himself.

He had barely survived on his own, and he actually told them he was happy to have someone around. Especially when they cooked for him and had dinner with them. Levi had to admit those were some of his favorite moments of the day as well, when they'd all sit down and talk about how their day had been. It reminded him of home, when everything was still good.

But now his parents were going to make them leave Dave all by himself again. Levi hated that he had to go back home, but he knew he didn't have a choice. He'd have to abide by his parents rules, whether he liked it or not.

"Hey, you lovebirds." Dave greeted them as he entered the living room. He had a big smile on his face, but even after not seeing each other for all those years, Levi could still recognize when Dave was faking being happy.

He didn't note upon this though, because he knew it wouldn't help their situation in any way. Instead he slowly sat up straight. "Hey, bro. Do you want us to help you cook dinner?"

Dave declined, reasoning he wanted to make them their farewell dinner. "Just sit down and relax, I won't make you work anymore today."

"But if its our last dinner together, we should surely help. We insist." He added after seeing Dave's disapproving look. "We love cooking with you." Jay nodded in support of Levi's attempt to convince his brother to let them join him in the kitchen.

Dave hesitated for a moment, but finally gave in to Levi's appeal. "Alright then. But put on an apron please, so I don't have to wash any more of your clothes. That's the thing I surely won't miss, those smelly clothes of yours in the laundry."

Levi gave Dave a big hug. He fought back his emotions. This was hard for everyone, his tears wouldn't be of much help. He had been dreading this day, but now it had arrived it was even worse than he imagined.

He got in the car, next to Jay who instantly held his hand. They both knew this might be the last time they openly could. David started the car.

During the drive, nobody spoke. There was nothing to be said that could make any of them feel better about what was about to happen.

Levi didn't like to admit, but he was scared. He was scared of loosing everything. His boyfriend, his brother and the relationship he used to have with his parents and siblings. The past month they had barely kept in touch.
