"Alice?" Someone knocked quietly on her door. Her eyes fluttered opened.
"Alice... may I come in?" Recognising her voice, Alice called a yes in response. As she sat up in her bed Hermione came in, fully dressed for the day. She was wearing her usual jeans, a T and her faded pink jumper.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. But Mr Weasley has said there is some sort of "surprise" today. We're leaving in half an hour." Hermione informed her.

"Surprise?" Alice asked confused as she hopped out of bed and went over to her dresser, changing out of her pjs. Now, just in a lacy, nude bralette and matching bottoms. Hermione walked back to the door to shut it to give her some privacy. But before she could George walked by the door and popped his head in.
"Hey girls, what's- shit! Sorry..." He said  embarrassed and quickly shuffled off. Hermione swiftly shut the door and looked at Alice, bug-eyed.

"Goddammit. Boys have no sense of privacy these days." Alice quickly threw on some low rised mum jeans and a singlet. She walked over to her mirror flustered, putting on a little bit of makeup.
"Well you know the twins. No sensor." Hermione chuckled and walked out, heading downstairs.

After getting gathering herself, Alice followed a short while after. Suddenly the scent of bacon and eggs wafted through her nose, Molly was in the kitchen making breakfast while everyone else was sitting, apart from Harry who was handing out plates.

"Finally up i see?" Molly beamed at Alice.
"Yeah.. sorry about that. I had a bit of a late night." She looked at the twins and a smile curled the corner of her lips, and theirs.

"Well you lot don't have much time. So quickly, eat up, eat up!" Alice sat down next to Ron and Hermione as Mrs Weasley shovelled masses amounts of omelet and crispy bacon onto their plates. They all feasted hungrily for around 10 minutes when Arthur stood up and signalled for everyone to say their goodbyes to Mrs Weasley.

"We're not coming back?" Alice asked the trio confused.
"Seems not," Harry guessed.
Everybody hugged and said their goodbyes then headed outside. Then, they all started walking behind the house and off towards the woods that lived not far from the burrow.

"Hey Ron, where is it we're actually going?"  Harry Ron looking equally as confused, shrugged then called out to his dad.
"Hey dad! We're are we going!"
"Haven't the foggiest! Keep up!" Arthur yelled back as he walked even more enthusiastically through the green wood.

All of them were huffing and puffing from the long walk. Hermione was having a particularly hard time, she had walked into roughly 4 spiderwebs and tripped over a pebble a couple times too. Fred and George slowed down a bit to walk with the five of them.

"You excited Granger?" George asked smirking and shoving her shoulder playfully.
"Excited for what exactly?" She retorted, glaring at him.
"Oh come on 'Mione, don't be so gloomy!" Fred laughed, skipping along the other side of her. Alice laughed a little to herself from the positivity the boys radiated. They strolled a little further until they heard a loud, unfamiliar voice,

"Arthur!! It's about time son!" Yelled a bigger man, quite like Mr Weasley, with a huge backpack, hiking stick, glasses and flat-cap. Arthur smiled widely at his old friend.
"Sorry Amos," He turned to the group behind him, looking playfully at Alice. "Some of us had a bit of a sleepy start!" Alice blushed, as they all came to greet the friendly fellow.
"This is Amos Diggory everyone!" Amos smiled at all of them, shaking their hands. Arthur looked around at Ginny's confused face.
"Works with me at the Ministry." He added.
All of a sudden a tall, handsome 16 year old boy fell from above and landed perfectly on his feet next to Amos.

"And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am i right?" Arthur shook Cedrics big hand in greeting.
"Yes sir." Cedric replied politely, "This way."
Hermione and Ginny both look at each other and giggled quietly to themselves. As they all started to follow Cedric through the woods Amos stops Harry.
"Merlins' Beard! You must be Harry Potter!"
"Um, yes sir." He says awkwardly as they shook hands.
"Great, great pleasure!" Amos continued to shake his hand in awe.
Alice looks back at them, then continued walking beside George. She laughs.
"Perks of being the chosen one huh?" George snickered in amusement, then soon stopped... tension in the air.

"Hey Ali, i wanted to apologise for being a bit of a perv earlier... i didn't mean to-" He was cut short by Alice.
"No, no it's fine, really. Just you know, knock next time okay?" She smiles at him and he nods in agreement.

After walking for like what seemed forever they finally came to an opening, a huge field with cows and a small hill. They all followed Cedric who was heading up the hill to what seemed like a boot.
"Yes, it's uh just over there!" Amos said in loss of breath.
"Shall we?" Asked Arthur.
Amos laughed, "Oh yeah."
Arthur hurried the kids further up the hill,
"We don't want to be late."
"Come on. Nearly there now! Get yourselves into a good position." Amos declared.
The Weasley twins looked at each other and snickered.
"Frazing." They both said in immature amusement. Harry laughed too.
The rest of the group circled around the boot, all but Arthur, Amos and Diggory looking slightly nervous.

"Why are they all standing around that manky old boot?" Harry asked a little disgusted.
"That ain't just any manky old boot mate, it's a port key." George informed him, while he too laid down next to all the others.
"What's a port key?" Harry asked still confused as to what everybody was doing. Fred joined in and he too placed his hand along with everyone else's on the boot... especially close to Alice's.
"Time to go!" Amos said sternly. "Ready? After three. One, two-"
"Harry!" Mr Weasley yelled, Harry clumsily leapt onto the boot, grabbing just the top.
"Three!"

Suddenly everybody started yelling as they began to fly into the air 100 kilometres an hour. Alice felt as though her stomach would fly out of her mouth. Her ears began to pop like when she was driving at the top of a mountain, or underwater. The pressure made her whole body tense up and she couldn't help but scream. It almost seemed as if lightning was striking all around them, although she didn't know if it were all in her head or if everyone else was seeing it too.
"Woooo!" Fred yelled.
"Ha Ha!" Amos belted.
Hermione screamed the loudest, she was terrified of hights.
"Let go kids!" Arthur yelled.
"What?!" Hermione screamed petrified.
"Let gooo!"

Everybody loosened their grip on the boot and flung off of it, they were now skydiving with no parachute. Falling, only for a couple of seconds though until they hit the ground with a loud thud. They grunted in pain as they lay there, speechless of what had happened.
"Ugh... i think i landed on my keys.." Fred winced in pain.
"Freddie, you don't own a car."
"Right."

Then, graceful like doves, Amos, Cedric and Arthur seemed to walk on air, slowly getting closer to the ground until their feet touched the surface.
"I bet that cleared your sinuses eh?" Mr Weasley exclaimed in laughter.
"Total shambles, as per usual." Amos said.
Cedric walked over to Harry who was still on the ground and helped him up.
"Thanks." He said awkwardly.
Alice was also on the ground, shocked and dazed.

"Come on love, let me help you up." George said, taking her hand and pulling her off the ground.
"Uh, thank you." She said blushing and looking at her feet. They began walking towards the sound of a huge crowd over the hill.
