To make the story more understandable and less confusing, we have to turn the clock back a few years, to an unusually busy city of Konoha. The said city was filled with cars – honking each other, everyone irritated because of the heavy traffic as unfortunately they will some be late for their respective jobs.

Though, one shivering secretary is not worried about being late, no, she was worrying if she might come out alive after she delivered the news to her boss. A lady could only hope.

A brunette haired secretary visibly trembled under the sharp gaze of her boss – silently praying to whatever deity she could think that she won't lose her job and/or her life after this.

She pushed back her round glasses, internally wincing when she felt it tangled with her hair. She was really itching to detangle them but she would probably look supremely idiotic and unprofessional, and now is not really a time to do that.

She hug her clipboard tighter, “Sir … Mr. Namikaze rejected our offer.” she closed her eyes tightly, as she mentally counted.

One, Two, Three –

Something was thrown to her direction, flew dangerously near her face.

“That bastard!” he exclaimed as he continues throw everything his hand can reach, he didn't care if he was making a mess in his office – he didn’t care he might damage some important documents, he just wants to let out his anger.

“I’ve done everything he said! Does he want me to beg?!” he screamed as he proceeds to kick his desk. As he continue to destroy everything he owns, his secretary hastily dialed someone she knows that could calm her boss.

With shaking fingers, she impatiently listen to the rings. After a couple more rings, she finally answered.

“Is something the matter?.” A feminine velvety voice spoke through the phone.

“Ma-Madam,” she gulped, trying to steady her shaking voice, “Why are you calling me during working hours?.” The lady on the phone scolded.

“Sir … He –” she was cut off by her boss’ frustrated scream, “Was that a scream?!.” the voice was laced with panicked as it asked, “Did something happened to him? Where is he right now?!.” the stressed secretary could hear hurried footsteps, “At – At the office, Madam.” she answered.

“Don’t let him hurt himself, I’ll be there shortly.” She hung up, as the secretary visibly sagged in relief, thank god.

And true to her words, she arrive barely twenty minutes later. Looking composed as always, with a passive expression, though, her eyes (barely) widen when she entered her lover's office.

She turn to the disheveled secretary, “I’ll take it from here, you’re dismissed.” she ordered and step aside for her to leave. And the secretary didn't have to be told twice.

She walked towards towards the man sitting on the couch, the loud sound of her heels made him look up, “Oh,” he whispered, she just silently peck his cheeks as she sat down beside him.

“Now I know the reason why my parents’ didn’t want me to take over.” he muttered.

The woman frowned as she slightly shook her head, she made him face her, “Don’t say that … Can you tell me what happened?.” she softly whispered.

“The Namikazes rejected our proposal.”

“Again?.”

He just glared at her, “Don’t look at me like that …” she sighed, “Stop forcing yourself to him – if he don't want to help then, we can't do anything about it. Don't worry, leave everything to me.”
