Hi there! Selene here :) I just want to put it out there that this book is a work of fiction, any resemblance to actual events or people, living or dead is completely coincidental. This book is mainly works of my mind during midnight so please don't hate and just spread positivity. I do accept constructive criticism and is very aware that my writings are far from being perfect. I am yet to master the ways of grammars. This is an unedited version. Thank you for understanding and choosing to read this book. I will do my best to give you a story you would enjoy. A little bit of story about me, this is my first story in this account. My first account was blocked but I did publish a book from there SunsetYellow_16 's Dream, Happiness, and Love, I think you could still check it out. Though teaser was the only part of the story I published and all of the drafts were solely on the app, so I wasn't able to finish that story though I really loved my idea about that I had to give it up :(. Enough of that, I am also happy to start fresh on this account though. If you have time kindly follow me and vote and comment on this story :) Thanks.

P.S. I actually plan to have a twitter account, should I? Maybe after some reads on this story so you guys could tag me on your reactions or maybe artworks. I went to the rooftop of the place, I looked at the night, it was full of stars and the moon is starting to settle on top. I smiled to myself.

Ganito rin ako nung high school, every student's nights and christmas party ng school lagi lang akong nagpupunta sa rooftop. Crowd and loud music overwhelms me. Kaya ako ang laging tambay sa rooftop, I wait there until the nights over. Besides, umaattend lang naman ako for grades noon.

I smirked then sipped on my drink. Years have passed but look at me, I'm still the same back then. I'm still waiting for the night to be over.

The only thing that changed is the sky. It's filled with stars and the moon's brighter than before.

I was starting to feel chilly when I felt someone near me. I looked at the person who is standing four feet away from me. He too was staring at the night. I don't know why but his mere presence warmed me up. I sipped again on my drink to remove the lump that started to build up on my throat.

"I found you" I choked when he spoke. I looked at him and his eyes were staring right into my soul. I'm so confused his words came out of nowhere, walang context. He walked closer to me before uttering another words, "I finally did"

"All these years I've been looking for you," he's now standing an inch away from me still looking at my eyes intently. "nandito ka lang pala" he added before putting his hand on top his chest. I looked at him confusingly, hindi ko alam sasabihin ko. He let out a small laugh before putting his hands on the rails and looking back at the night.

'I found you' his words echoed again on my head. Then it finally sink in, at last I understood. A tear escaped my eyes as I let out a chuckle. I looked at him before facing the sky again.

Maybe I wasn't really waiting for the night to end, I was waiting for him to find me.
