CHAPTER 1

Kenma's POV
"I need to get some sleep".Kenma said as he crawled to his bed.He had stayed up all night playing video games

Kenma's parents had died in a horrible accident five years ago.
He was left with no one except his bestfriend ~Kuroo.

"I have to wake up early tomorrow for school and go to work".He mumbled in his sleep.He worked part time at a gaming company.

Since his parents death he had to work to make ends meet.He was payed handsomely at his job,in return he was one of the few programmers.

He was also a college student,and it had taken it's toll on him so he played video games to ease up his anxiety.

~Flashback~ kenma
I woke up around 6am and had to get ready for school

I heard snoring and probably figured it was Lev.
He doesn't stop snoring does he

I lazily got up and went to brush my teeth and shower.
When the cold water hit my skin I tensed up but quickly relaxed

"I should probably ask for a vacation from work to ease up a little bit"

I had been working so hard it started taking it's toll on me.

I felt tired and numb most of the time but still got around with my day.

And with Bokuto's constant bantering it was way worse

He and Akaashi sometimes came over to Lev and I's dorm.

They were always bickering over the most trivial things.Like who was best in volleyball or who's grades were high, akaashi.

I finished and got out of the shower.Lev was still asleep even though he had the same classes as I do.

I quickly wore a pair of pants,some white adidas shoes and black a black hoodie.

I wasn't the type to wear formal clothes at school.Always something baggy and comfy.

I glanced at the time It was 6:35am.I still had time for breakfast.I sprinted to Lev's room to wake him.
Seeing as class started at 7:30am.

He woke up with a jolt and bolted down the hallway to shower.

I went to the kitchen for some cereal.I munched on it and decide to wait for Kuroo he had a different class but at the same time.

I quickly texted him to see if he was still in his dorm

Kuroo💓

Kenma:
Hey Kuroo.
6:50am

Kuroo:
Hey kitten.
6:50am

Kenma:
I was wondering if you had already went to class.
6:51am

Kuroo:
Yeah,why.
6:52am.

Kenma:
Oh ok,I was just cheking to see if we could've went to class together.
6:52am.

Kuroo:
Oh sorry,see you after class.
6:53am.

Kenma:
Oh,ok bye then.
6:54am

after I finished my cereal I hurried off to class,leaving Lev behind he goes with yaku anyway.

I hurried of to class,I always wanted to have some quite time before professor came in.

I went to my desk to have some sleep before class started.

"kenma,Kenma!!".I woke up to the sound of (y/n).

"Classes are about to start,and you know how the professor is".you said

"oh yeah thanks for waking me up"I said

"No problem my pleasure"(y/n) said.

You weren't one of my closest friends,but were close enough.

Just then the professor came in.I thanked my heavens Y/N woke me up just in time, or else my ears would've been blasted off the minute he started one of his constant lectures.

Classes passed by as usual ,and I went to join Lev,Yaku,Akaashi and Bokuto for lunch.

I went to the cafeteria and heard an annoyingly familiar voice"Hey,hey,hey kenma over here".

I walked over to where they were gathered and took a seat.

"so what's up".Akaashi asked nonchalantly.

"Nothing much".I answered.

"Let's eat I am famished".Bokuto said.Everyone suprisingly stared at Bokuto.

"When did you learn good grammar".Yaku asked breakung the silence

"What.I'm not allowed to speak good grammar".Bokuto said jokingly.

"You either use slang or your grammar is just awful.Lev said trying to hold back a laugh.

"I'm starting to speak good grammar for a certain someone"Bokuto said eyeing Akaashi mischivieously.

"Ok enough with this lovey dovey  stuff".I said grossed out.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of his bed"Bokuto said.

"What's wrong Kenma".Akaashi said.

"It's nothing I'm just upset that's all".I said
"Why?"Akaashi asked.

"It's because Kuroo usually walked with me but today he went before me".I said averting my gaze.

"Maybe he was busy with class no need to get upset buddy"Lev said.

"Ok".I said eating my food.

~timeskip to kenma's workplace~

The day passed by quickly and it was time for work.Work started at 7:30pm.So I grabbed dinner and got dressed for work.

When I reached work, I greeted my co-workers and went straight to my desk.

My boss had a new game idea so we started programming it.And I gotta admit it was pretty cool.

I finished around 10:00pm and went straight to my dorm and played games thinking about kuroo

Speaking of which I never saw him today.

I glanced at the clock and it was 12:00am.

I drifted off to sleep

~end of flashback~

Bokuto:Hey,Hey,Hey author chan so how you doing*smiling*
AuthorChan:Hey Bokuto,fine how you doing.
Bokuto:Same old,same old and Akaashi's pretty mad at me.
AuthorChan:And why is that?*smirking*.
Bokuto:I ate his Ice cream *fidgeting with his hands*
AuthorChan:Then just apologise he'll get over it.*pats his back*
Bokuto:Thanks AuthorChan you're the best*hugs me*
AuthorChan:Bo-bokuto you're squishing me*pants for air*
Bokuto:sorry,byeee*leaves*
