"Look at you catching on"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait!" Gabriel calls for us to stop. Dropping my sprint to a jog I spin around, hands on my hips watching Gabriel searching through his pack "Too much toxin in the air. I am not in the mood to be seeing my ghost right now." Breathing deeply from the oxygen mask, Gabriel extending it through to me "Are you?"

With a brisk shake of my head, I hurry take the oxygen gratefully. Been there. Bought the ticket. Don't plan on revisiting the experience. Breathing deeply I look carefully around the darkened forest. With night fallen it's made the toxin easier to see, white flecks floating around me like snow. Yet a sudden blast of light whizzing past my head and has me leaping for cover in the trees. Sharing a tree trunk with Gabriel, he gasps "Ray guns?"

Trying to peak around the corner, I scan through the toxin frustratedly "Dammit. I want one!"

"A toy that will melt your face off?" Echo ducks a bush to avoid another blast, sending me a small cynical shrug "Sure Avery. Why not." Rolling my eyes to myself, Echo does make the valid point "If it shoots it can be shot at." Suddenly another blast shoots five feet away, dirt exploding from the shot taken. "That was a really bad shot", Echo snaps her head to tell Gabriel and me, Hope ducked for cover behind a tree further from us "Even from far away."
