"Ok, you have to be skinnier than my brother, I can probably touch your ribs" I said tauntingly as he walked over from across the pool locker room, of course I had noticed this before but this was the first time I had made fun of him for it. In my surprise he grabbed my hand and put it on his ribs and let go. I held on with both hands and as always he played with my long black hair. And as always he pushed it back which I knew was his way of saying its too long cut it, for traditional purposes I played his hair as to say look who's talking shoulder length. His shoulder length hair was ginger and always perfectly parted even though I knew he never cared. My hip length hair was always loose and got everywhere but he only seemed to care when it got in his way. We heard footsteps coming and I knew it was the coach, Leena R. Longneck, she had caught us once hugging and all hell broke loose, imagine the trouble we'll get into for being basically 1 cm apart wrapped in each others hair half naked . I watched as he dropped my Chinese chocolate in my bag. I knew they cost him a fortune, the first time I ever ate them was when his parents went and bought him some about 1/2 a year ago but ever since he saw i liked them he ordered them every Saturday to give to me every Tuesday during practice. That was the best thing about having friends like him they all knew what I liked and tried to please me. But Alex did it exceptionally well, he used to sneak out of his dorm when it was late and he ran about 10 miles to get me my favorite flower from my favorite bush, until I saw what happened to another boy who escaped and I prohibited him to ever escape campus for me again. Since then he brought me extra chocolate to make up for my flower. Justin, one of my other best friends was the best swimmer on the team. I was just there to please both of them, the first time they saw me swim they invited me to be on the team and I had to, for them. Ever since I had gotten crazy good and had become co-captin, things just weren't the same between me and Justin, we were constantly fighting but everything usually cleared up and the few moments of peace I enjoyed more than life.
