Hi! My name is kim y/n i am half korean and half American i lived in new york my dad lived here since he was child so after that he never go back to korea he has no problems it's just our company got big here he met my mom and they fell inlove. I have a older brother kim jaeho we're not that close but we don't have problems with each other we're not just close but you can see that we both love each other my dad always tell good stuffs about korea and he also teach us what are the traditions and culture of korea. I fell inlove with and started to watch films, drama and even stan kpops.

I always tell them that i want to go in korea but since our business is big they are so busy but they never lack something to us. They make sure they give attention, love and appreciation to us.

It's my 20th birthday tomorrow and my family has been acting really weird but i'm not doing or saying anything because i didn't want to expect. Till my dad speaks up.

"Y/n, tomorrow is birthday do you want to do anything? Or go somewhere?" Your dad said with a suspicious look

"Let's just eat somewhere or something" you said while smiling you always want your birthday to be simple.

"You don't want to go somewhere honey? Like other countries?" Your mom said while smiling so sweet.

"I'd love to go to korea but your busy and i understand that" you said smiling to let them know you really understand them.

"Okay if that's what you want just wake up early tomorrow okay? So we could eat breakfast together" dad said while smiling

"Okay dad! Goodnight iloveyou dad & mom" you said smiling and somehow you felt excited for tomorrow.

"Hey sweetheart wake up i already packed your things" mom wakes me up with her sweet voice.

I scratch my eyes and say "huh? What things?" I said while yawning.

"WE ARE GOING TO KOREAAA!!! GET UP HONEY WE ARE GOING TO MY HOMETOWN" dad said being so hyper about it.

"WHA- ARE YOU SERIOUS?" I jumped to my bed getting shocked and excited about what i heard.

"Yes sweetheart we are going there and that's our gift for you" mom caressing my back and kissing my cheek.

"No your kidding, you have a busy schedule today, i asked your secretary" i said still not believing it.

"Kid stop talking and get ready or we will be late to our flight" jaeho said while leaning at my door.

"So your serious.. Okay i'll get ready" and stand up and go straight to the bathroom while singing happily.

"Don't worry honey you still have 1hour to prepare" dad said

That's all i need to fix myself since mom already prepared my clothes and everything but i'll still check it if my mom forgets to put something to my luggage.

I was in the shower when i hear my door opens but i didn't mind because maybe it's mom just checking. I am excited but i kinda have this feeling that we shouldn't go? It's weird but i'm more excited so we should go.

I'm done taking a shower and the first thing i saw is a paper bag at the side of my bed, maybe it's from mom i grab it and saw a letter inside saying 'happy birthday sis. I hope you like it.' It's from jaeho! He's cold but i know he cares. And i took the dress and it's a simple and elegant pink dress he knows i liked elegant dresses. I was in awe and said to my mind that he is sweet.
