I look at her in disbelief as this is the last thing I could have expected from Marcus, ''why didn't you tell me yesterday I could've come Ove- no, I'm going down and cancelling all this.''

I wait for any sign of approval from her and I get a barely there nod before I am walking out of the door and down the stairs already booking the next flight to Miami that is in two hours through my phone, I reach the bottom of the stairs and walk to the giant doors where the ceremony is set up, I push the doors wide open and walk all the way up the aisle and next to Marcus without looking at him once. I flash the guests a big smile and clasp my hands together before announcing, ''thank you all for giving us your time and coming here but unfortunately our dear bride will not be walking down this aisle to this man today. Or any other day. But I thank you again for making it, if you want stick around and enjoy the champagne and favours.''

I get a text from aunt Katherine that she is outside in her car and so I make a grand exit down the aisle and out the giant doors once again before rushing towards the exit of the venue and into her car in which I send my aunt a sweet smile before telling her, ''I booked us a flight to Miami that leaves in-'' I check my phone to see the time, ''-exactly an hour and 42 minutes.''

And with that aunt Katherine presses on the peddle laughing, the drive to the airport was spent with me looking through my aunt's honeymoon luggage for something for us to wear because a runaway bride and her niece at the airport still in their dresses will surely raise a few brows. When I have found what I thought was suitable I slid into the back seat of the Porsche cayenne and slipped on a pair of black jeans that were a size too small for me that with a bit of a struggle I managed to slip on and a white hoodie and slid my black heels I was wearing earlier back on as we both didn't have the same shoe size.

When we parked in the airport I handed aunt Kath her clothes and she changed really quickly into the tracksuit, after looking somewhat presentable with a bit too much makeup for the airport we headed into the airport to check in with only aunt Kat's bags, we got our business-class tickets fairly quickly as it was a domestic flight and only needed our IDs, aunt Kat glanced at me with appreciation when she noticed I have booked them business class because she feels too claustrophobic and anxious in economy, I slid my hand in hers after checking her bags in and headed into the business lounge. I turned to sit down, and I hear her chuckle behind me, I glance back at her confused. ''what is it?''

Her chuckle turns into a laugh and I feel even more dumbfounded, she slid her phone out of her pocket still laughing and went behind me and took a picture and handed me the phone.

The back of the white hoodie has 'bride' written on it in red cursive.
