Summer, the best time to visit New Zealand. Unlike many other parts of the world, New Zealand would have a bright warm sun shining down during December. The beaches, the lakes, the mountains and the delicious sea food attracted people from all over the world like moths. The country itself was the definition of beauty during summer, not to mention the cycling or mountain biking ranges in the country, through beautiful landscapes with enormous red wood trees.

The major attraction of the small island nation were the beaches. The clean and clear water with pure white sand could charm even a cold heart and make them feel at peace, such was the beauty of the ocean. But was it possible for those who didn't have a heart at all? The pale man sighed heavily digging his toes into the white sand as if trying to bury himself under the ocean, away from the cruel world and cruel himself.

However, the ocean was his home. It was the ocean that always captivated him the most wherever he went. The cool breeze would invade his dark jet black hair and ruffle them fondly with love. The warm water would tease him endlessly, crashing against his legs and running away before he could drown himself completely in the warmth. The soft sand would stick to his skin and hug him tightly, refusing to let him go no matter how much he tried, or may be he never tried to get rid of them anyway.

May be he did have a heart but lost it on the way. After all, the ocean was his first love. Or should he say that Ocean was introduced to him by his first love? Or his only love? Whatever! He didn't seem to care anymore because he didn't feel those emotions anymore. Those warm smiles, those skipped beats, those caring gazes, those soft caresses, those mild touches, those possessive hugs, those deep kisses and passionate nights! Huh? No... a night... a single night of passion and everything vanished into thin air. Well! He destroyed everything with his own hands.

The thick eyebrows came together forming a knot on his forehead as he stood watching the sunset. The long eyelids fluttered at a particular strong wind making him shiver. He pulled out his hands from his pant pockets and wrapped them around himself. The strong yet cheerful waves soaked his feet, patting them with care, trying to calm down his agitated mind. But peace, it was something he had not experienced for the past six years.

After a heavy sigh, he pulled himself together and turned around to walk towards the cottage. He took firm steps on the white sand, with his eyes wandering around the beach. For someone like him, he needed to be on high alert all the time. One moment of carelessness or letting his guard down would result in grave danger, not just for himself but also for the pure innocent soul who was now standing in front of the mirror in their room, humming happily and blushing to himself.

"P'Tee, you are here. Where did you go? I was waiting for you for so long"

Tee smiled at the cute pouting face, feeling all his stress melt away in an instant. He observed the boy, who was barely nineteen, from his head to toe. He couldn't help but reach out and pinch the two dimpled cheeks fondly.

"How do I look?", the younger asked eagerly, pushing away Tee's hands with a shy smile.

"Cute, Copgi, as always", Tee confirmed with a nod looking down at the boy.

The boy turned pink as he moved to check himself again in the mirror after mumbling a soft thank you. Tee noticed his choice of clothes and almost rolled his eyes in annoyance as the reality sank in. But he suppressed the growing irritation within himself and moved towards the shelf. He pulled out his towel from the cupboard and walked to the bathroom. He was closing the bathroom door when he heard a soft happy giggle followed by the humming sound from the boy again.
