On My Own (a one direction fan fiction)

Chapter 17

I am so sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I have been super busy because a deadline of a big project was moved up and I haven't started it get. We also have been having a bunch of tests and homework lately. We are also in a tournament for cheer (well the basketball team is in a tournament, we are cheering for them). So I can't post on Tuesday and Wednesday, if we win Tuesday's game, I won't be able to post. Also on Friday because I'm going to a friend's house. I know I finally got this thing that people call a life! I didn't know about it until recently! Today the winner of the contest will be revealed. Yes I know it was supposed to be revealed like a week ago but... I have no excuse. So I will get on with the story!!

"Wake up its like lunch time already!"

"What!" I bolted up at the thought I had missed breakfast and possibly lunch. I had stayed up all night doing makeup work.

"Get ready, we're going to the cafe for food!"

"Fine, but I have to turn in some papers along the way."

"Just go get ready!" she pulled me out of bed and I walked into the bathroom.

I turned the water on and got in after taking my clothes off. When I was done I got out and dried myself off, putting on an oversized purple tank top and black leggings.

When I stepped out I saw Rose wearing her pink sweatshirt from Pink and skinny jeans. She was putting on her Vans and I put on my converse.

"So how was your collage experience my grown up friend?"

"Terrifying, yours?" I said as we walked out of the room.

"It was ok." she paused for a second as we opened the door to go outside and I felt the warm sun hit me. I had almost forgotten it was summer! Although summers don't get very hot here in Minnesota. Yes I love in Minnesota, don't judge me, they had a good collage. "Unless you count meeting One Direction as a collage experience, then it was amazing!"

I rolled my eyes at her. "Meeting them blocks out everything else?"

"Well No, sort of, maybe."

"Hold on I'm going to turn my calculus homework into Mr. Hedrick." I said as Mr. Hedrick, our calculus teacher, walked by. "Mr. Hedrick."

"Yes Ruth."

"Here is my homework for your class."

"Thanks." he said taking it from my hand. "If you want me to give the other teachers your work we have a meeting later."

"That would be great, thanks." I said as I offered him my other papers, that he took. "Have a good day." I said as he walked away but he was to far to hear me. I turned around to see Rose on her phone. I snatched her phone from her hand and started to run.

"Hey no running with my phone!" she said chastising after me.

I laughed my evil laugh. "You can't ever catch me!" I said looking behind me at Rose as I turned the corner. I ran into something and turned to see the chest of a really fit man. "Sor-" I started to apologise when I was cut off by the face of the man.

"Hello Ruth isn't it nice meeting you here?"

Just kidding guys I told you I would revel who the girl won so I'm not doing that now but I will... I said it was a man so it's not the chick who won. He gave me a sly smile and I started to back away from him. With every step I took away he took two steps towards me, until my nose was against his chest. I clenched my jaw and balled up my fists.

"What you did to Zach was not ok. I will get you back for it. He said bending down so his nose was touching mine. He looked into my eyes.

"What do you mean what I did to him?" I said trying to keep calm.

"All you have to know is I won't hurt you now because there are people watching. But at any moment I could hurt you so much that your life would be ruined." he whispered in my ear. I could feel his breath on my neck.

"You took away my v-card!" I didn't know what to say.

"No Zach and I agreed that you didn't deserve to have that taken away. That is something that only people who are worthy get to have taken away."

"I remember it though." I was confused.

"We had put you on some drugs after we brought you up to our room though, they would have made you feel things and exaggerate."

"That I don't remember."

"You wouldn't you were asleep." he said as he wrapped his hands around my waist.

"Your sick!" I said trying to get away from him.

"Shhh." he shushed me and placed a rag over my mouth.

"Mmmmm." I mumbled through the rag as people just passed by. I started kicking and hitting him, doing everything that I could to get him to leave me alone. I felt my hits getting weaker and weaker until the sleepiness I had been fighting took over.

~Time Skip (Foul language used, read at your own risk)~

"Wake up bitch." I hear a man with a deep voice say as I felt him slap me across my cheek.

"Leave her alone!" I hear a girl scream. I opened my eyes to see the man who had apparently kidnapped me and a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was across the room from me. We were in a basement with a cement floor and a pole, that I was handcuffed to.

Why does this always happen to me, what did I do?

"Shut up you slut." He said whipping his head to face the girl. She looked about my age and I thought I recognized her from somewhere but I couldn't remember.

"Or what." she said daring him.

"Or you can meet my friend." he said pulling a knife from his pocket.

I let out a whimper and the guy turned his head around to me.

"Awe is the little bitch scared?" he said with a sly smile on his face. He bent down so his face was level with mine.

I let out another whimper as I backed away, into the wall behind me.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you." I could smell the beer on his breath. "Unless I do." he traced from my ear to my chin with his knife.

I started to sob as he stood up.

"I'll let you ladies get to know each other but just know I have cameras." he gestured to the camera on the ceiling in the corner. He walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.

Who is the man? Leave your guesses in the comments. So the lovely lady who won the 'contest' was singerlover1999. Yes she got kidnapped with Ruth!It was totally random. I put them all in a plastic Wal-Mart bag and had my sister, who couldn't care less, choose someone. I wanted to thank everyone who entered. I feel like I got closer to you, because let's be honest we might have changed a few things but the people where based on yourself for the most part. Not that that's a bad thing, I'm guilty of it too!
I also realized something that is so cool. People from all over the world are reading this! So tell me, where are you from? Not being creepy. I'm from the USA. The land of well what are we known for? Being free? Fat people jk? Idk!
I'm very sorry that this was up late but I was so busy with school, like I said earlier, and my mom's internet was being weird then when I got to my dad's we had a pipe that had been leaking all night (although I wouldn't call it leaking, there was so much force that the water landed a few feet away). I know it's a bad excuse but I am truly sorry.
