Bright Vachirawit's eyes were closed as he listened intently to the song that was playing from his phone. His body moved to the beat as he played the guitar, too. He was in his bedroom, sheets of music and lyrics sprawled across his bed. He would pause every now and then to jot some notes, then he'd be lost again in the music. He only had a few days to learn the song, and he was giving all his best to get it right, if not perfectly.
BrightWin will be performing at the upcoming Miss Universe Thailand Grand Coronation. They will be serenading the candidates during the evening gown competition; and will also have a special performance where each of them will be covering an English pop song.
Bright was going to sing Lost in Japan by Shawn Mendes for the special segment. It has always been his dream to sing for a big crowd, but he never thought he'd perform for something as grand as MUT. They were to rehearse later today, and so he had to make sure he's really got this.
Win Metawin was leaning at the doorway of Bright's room, smiling and watching him in silence. It's just one of the things Win loved about Bright—the sight of him getting lost into his element, his music.
Win was there to fetch him so they could go together at the MUT rehearsal. Like Bright, he will also have his own solo performance for the special segment. He was already bobbing his head to the beat of Bright's song, and he could see how Bright was enjoying it.
Bright smiled as soon as he saw his Win watching by the door. It didn't take long before he got up from his bed and was just a few inches from Win, his arms around Win's waist.
"Hey you," Bright said with that soft, angelic voice.
Win smiled as he held Bright around his waist, too. "Hey you."
No space was left between them as Bright gently kissed his Metawin, both surrendering into each other's lips. They held on to each other like they didn't want the kiss to end, as they slowly but deeply took each other's breath.
They were both smiling and were practically glowing after their lips parted.
"I missed you," Bright whispered, giving Win another peck on his lips. "I love you."
Win couldn't help but smile. To those who really knew Bright, he's not one who willingly expresses his feelings. He usually keeps to himself, and most times quiet and in his own world.
He has a whole new world now, though—a world with his Metawin. Win who brings out the best in him. Win who makes the simplest things seem so fun. Win who makes him completely and genuinely happy.
"Weren't we together just last night? And didn't we talk on the phone until three in the morning?" Win asked teasingly.
Bright tilted his head and looked at Win straight in the eye. "So are you saying you didn't miss me?"
As he got lost in Bright's soulful and telling eyes, Win couldn't help but surrender. His man could be so irresistible.
"Fine, I missed you, too." He leaned in and gave Bright a peck on his lips. "And I love you more, Vachirawit."
Yes, BrightWin is real. At first they both thought it was merely fan service; that they had to be sweet and romantic like a real couple because of their characters in 2gether The Series. But as time passed, they both knew that what they had was something deeper, that what they were feeling and doing was already beyond fan service. It was love—nothing else—and it was all that mattered.
"Are we leaving soon?" Bright asked as he went into his closet to change.
Win sat at the edge of Bright's bed, playfully flailing his legs. "Yang. We still got a couple of hours, Bai."
